The Jew Bob Iger is apparently still running Disney, just from a position with less liability.
Walt Disney executive chairman Bob Iger told Barron’s there may be a few movies after Artemis Fowl that jump directly onto Disney+ as the coronavirus pandemic keeps movie theaters shuttered.
“In terms of movies going ahead after Artemis, there may be a few more that we end up putting directly onto Disney+, but for the most part a lot of the big tentpole Disney films, we’ll simply wait for slots. In some cases, we’ve announced new ones already, but later on in the calendar,” Iger said in an interview with the publication.
Artemis Fowl was meant to be released in theaters. He didn’t name possible films that might follow. However, it’s been rumored for the longest time that New Mutants, which was taken off the calendar when coronavirus hit, was going to Hulu.
Disney has delayed the releases of Black Widow and Mulan.
“In some cases we’ve moved things onto Disney+ faster than we would have. Frozen 2 was one of them, but Onward would be the biggest example. It was in theaters when this happened. We moved to a pay-per-view period for a couple of weeks where people could buy it and own it. And then we ended up putting it on Disney+.”
Of course, Iger is still promoting the hoax.
Iger also said that Disney is considering taking people’s temperature at the theme park, kind of like it does bag checks, once the parks reopen.
We’re studying very carefully what China has been trying to do in terms of their return to normalcy,” he said, and a big part of that it there is that, “You can’t get on a bus or a subway or a train or enter a high-rise building. … without having your temperature taken.”
By making both of these statements in the same interview, he is acting like the virus is the reason that these films will be moved to Disney+. That is of course not true. If it was simply about the virus, they could just set their entire release schedule back 3 months.
The reason they are moving the films to streaming is that after this is over, no one is going to have the money to see movies in the theater, and they’re all going to close. This is basically the end of Hollywood.
This is what I predicted would happen to the films that are already finished filming.
My predictions might seem incredible, but actually, I’m just extrapolating logically from the situation we’re in. Virtually no one has accepted this situation, so no one else is predicting the obvious.
The streaming services – primarily Netflix – are going to be considered crucial when the economy ends. People have to have this pacifying entertainment. The government will subsidize it if they have to.
What Disney is doing is trying to make themselves the second service. They are trying to get people signed up, so they’re more likely to stay signed up during budget cuts.
All entertainment media is now going to be going straight to streaming services. And there is going to be a lot less of it.
It’s been funny to watch what remains of the comics industry collapsing, as the figureheads in that industry act like they’re going to be able to keep selling people digital comics for $5 each. Marvel and DC have abused shop owners for decades, and now they’re going to go down with the shops.
Gary from Nerdrotic has been doing a great job covering this case of terminal comeuppance.
But most other entertainment will go the same way.
They will keep a drip capable of keeping the people distracted, and the government will subsidize it with bailouts for Disney, Netflix and probably Amazon.
Video games are another area of entertainment that is going to be downscaled but stay alive. I don’t think anyone is going to be able to afford next generation consoles, or any other upgrades at all for the foreseeable future. But they will figure out a way to keep people gaming. Anything to keep them distracted.
They’re also of course going to decriminalize opioids across the entire country. Because they want as many people high as possible.
Anything to keep the riots to a minimum as they figure out how to spin this into a war against the Chinese.
Speaking of Disney, I’m reminded of this Kantbot tweet.

It’s interesting to think about the possibility that these people did know. I don’t know if they did. But the fact that so many of them resigned indicates that they had at least heard tell of a coming economic collapse, and decided to split with the money before it happened.
That is one point in the column of “this was done on purpose.”
If we decide it was done on purpose, then the only possible explanation is to create an excuse for a war with China.
