Kamala Babbles Incoherently About Sanctions Against Russia

You can watch this one-minute clip of Kamala Harris responding to questions from the press about why the threatened sanctions have not yet been implemented. It is gibberish.

This was apparently recorded AFTER Putin began deploying troops into the Ukraine, and she is talking about a diplomatic solution. That would either mean that the Biden Administration is okay with surrendering the Donbass, or that she wasn’t aware that these events had happened when she made the statements. Or, it just doesn’t mean anything, and she is just a busted robot who repeats phrases.

Here’s another clip, where she says there was no war in Europe in 70 years.

I don’t think she could pass the Turing Test.

That said, earlier this year she did make one of the most profound statements ever, and one which I mutter to myself all day long: “It is time for us to do what we have been doing. And that time is every day.”

The reason they haven’t done these hardcore sanctions they keep talking about of course is that it would wreck the US economy even worse than it is already wrecked.

Putin is obviously aware of that, and is just calling a bluff.

Biden is saying he’s going to issue more sanctions today, so we’ll see what kind of balls they’ve got on that front.

Maybe it will be the crazy economy-destroying sanctions they’re threatening, or maybe it will just be some nonsense about how some low level officials aren’t allowed to enter the US.

Who knows.

The incompetence and fundamentally confused state of this administration makes it pretty much impossible to predict what they are going to do, so I’ve given up on trying.
