Kevin McCarthy is still losing very badly, with more and more members of Congress opposing his ascension to Speaker of the House.
McCarthy did the 6th vote on Wednesday. He doesn’t have the votes.
He has people out there threatening people who won’t support him, and it’s not working. He is making no attempt to negotiate with the dissenters.
If they’re not afraid of Dan Crenshaw calling them terrorists, then there is no second strategy.

People do not like McCarthy. He is an extreme shill for the Ukraine.
He was cozy with Liz Cheney.
He is everything everyone hates. He’s a shill for big business, for war business; his policies effectively make him a Democrat.
Frankly, there are some pretty serious questions as to why Large Marge is so supportive of him.
We can only guess as to what is going on there.
It’s not clear what the next steps are, given that the group opposing him, led by national hero – now folk hero – Matt Gaetz, is not wavering.
What is clear is that Donald Trump is making even worse decisions by the day, and is now totally hitching his wagon to the sinking ship that is Kevin McCarthy.
Trump appears completely unfit to lead. He is out of touch and apparently incapable of getting in touch. He is taking advice from very bad advisors and is incapable of recalibrating.
Sean Hannity, a fat boomer retard from Fox News, called Lauren Boebert a liberal and demanded she submit to Donald Trump’s orders. She said no.

Gaetz has revealed that McCarthy is threatening to go full-Zelensky on all those who oppose him.

Gaetz is willing to let a Democrat win. Crenshaw the Zioclops says he’s not voting for anyone other than his warmongering butt-buddy McCarthy, presumably meaning he is also willing to let a Democrat win.
I think a Democrat should win. Kevin McCarthy isn’t going to do anything different than a Democrat would do, so it literally doesn’t even matter. Also, if a Democrat wins Speaker, they won’t be able to get anything done anyway. The whole thing will be deadlocked, which will be very good for the economy and just good in general.
As of Thursday morning, the sonovabitching McCarthy is still squatting in the Speaker’s office. He will not leave.
