Three people, including two teenagers, have been charged in connection with the death of a man in Lewiston.
Donald Giusti, 38, was critically injured in a large confrontation in Kennedy Park last June. He later died of his injuries.
Giusti was severely injured in the fight that involved dozens of people, including teens and preteens, police said last June.
Emmanuel Nkurunziza, 17, of Lewiston, was arrested in Limestone on Thursday morning on a charge of manslaughter and taken to jail. He made an initial court appearance Thursday afternoon and did not enter a plea.
A 13-year-old boy from Lewiston was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor assault.
Pierre Mousafiri, 23, of Lewiston, was arrested on a misdemeanor assault charge. He was taken to Androscoggin County Jail and released on $500 bail. He is due to appear in court June 12.
The 13-year-old boy’s name was not released due to his age.
