The victim doesn’t look like someone who’d pose much of a threat.

It’s almost like blacks just have to kill someone when robbing a place.

Erie News Now:

Pennsylvania State Police have identified the worker killed in a shooting during a robbery at the Wendy’s near Edinboro Saturday.

Alexander Cavanah, 22, of Edinboro, died after being taken to UPMC Hamot.

Markese D. Lampley, 20, of Erie, has been charged with first and second degree murder, robbery, and fleeing and attempting to elude police. He also faces additional criminal charges and vehicle violations.

The robbery turned homicide happened at the Wendy’s on Route 6 near Interstate 79 in Washington Township around 2:20 p.m.

Investigators said Lampley, who was earlier identified as a man wearing black clothes and a ski mask, came into the store and forced a female employee to the back of the restaurant where the vault is located.

During that time, Lampley shot Cavanah, according to State Police.

Lampley fled on a black and red Kawasaki motorcycle, which has since been seized as evidence, according to investigators.
