I admit that the optics were bad at Charlottesville. This is why I told people to ban literal Neo-Nazis. Why would you want actual swastika flags at a rally?
But no Stormers brought actual swastika flags.
We believe in A E S T H E T I C.
Not literal Neo-Nazism. That is just a meme, for the internet.
Yes, everyone loves Hitler – how could you not? But that doesn’t mean you go around with Nazi flags.
People should have used American flags, period.
Look – I have yet to write up my full review of Charlottesville – because of all this shit that happened – but I’m going to. And one of the things I am going to write is that this look of actual Nazi symbols is retarded. It makes zero sense in a real life scenario.
tl;dr: Hitlerism is not a meme. “Neo-Nazi White Supremacy” is a meme.
I think a lot of the people involved in the literal Neo-Nazi stuff are good guys, but they could just as easily be using the same ideology with a look at is much more suited to what we are trying to build here, which is a mass movement.
Anyway, I’ve got all the details on this coming up.
