Poland Halts South African Plane on the Way to the Ukraine and Russia

Poland be like

A bunch of Africans were going to the Ukraine and then to Russia as part of a peace project, which includes introducing their peace plan to the Ukrainians and then visiting the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.

This is really an outrageous event.

Interfering with anyone’s international travel without accusing them of a crime is an extreme action.

Stopping people like this who are carrying diplomatic passports takes it into a whole other realm.

This is reminiscent of 10 years ago, when the US grounded Evo Morales’ jet under the suspicion that he was carrying Edward Snowden.

Remember: this is the “rules-based order” that totally refuses to explain its rules. It appears to be acting completely lawlessly, but we can’t know that for sure, because the rules they are following are a secret.

RT:

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has had to travel to Russia without dozens of his bodyguards, after Polish authorities effectively blocked a planeload of security personnel and members of the press pool at Warsaw airport, with Hungary then refusing to let the plane enter its airspace.

One of the journalists told RT on Saturday that Budapest’s decision would not affect President Cyril Ramaphosa’s visit to St. Petersburg. The head of state is already in Russia, having arrived separately with a smaller contingent.

South African reporter Queenin Masuabi confirmed the situation in a Twitter post, saying: “our government have been unable to secure access [to] the Hungarian airspace.” She added that “members of the Presidential Protection Unit, along with journalists, will not be traveling to Russia.”

On Thursday, the Polish Border Security Service allegedly prohibited members of Ramaphosa’s security team, consisting of more than 100 personnel, along with 20 reporters, from leaving their plane at Chopin Airport in Warsaw.

According to one of the journalists stranded on board, who spoke to RT, Polish officials had demanded that members of the South African Presidential Protection Services (PPS) surrender their weapons, claiming that they did not have the correct permits to bring them into the country.

One member of the team was even reportedly strip-searched by Polish police despite holding a diplomatic passport.

Ramaphosa’s head of security, Major General Wally Rhoode, accused Warsaw of attempting to sabotage Pretoria’s efforts to secure a truce between Ukraine and Russia.

Polish authorities, in turn, insisted that Ramaphosa’s delegation chose not to disembark from the plane of their own accord. The Polish Foreign Ministry clarified that the flight had been delayed after discovering “dangerous materials” and “undeclared individuals” on board.

As a result, Ramaphosa had to travel to Kiev without members of his security detail on Friday. The South African head of state, along with senior officials from Senegal, Egypt, Zambia, South Africa, and the Comoros, met with President Vladimir Zelensky in the Ukrainian capital.

They put forward a roadmap aimed at a cessation of hostilities between Kiev and Moscow, which the Ukrainian leadership treated without much enthusiasm.

It’s nice the Africans are doing a peace plan. Obviously, the Jews have stated clearly that they will not accept peace under any circumstances, but it’s nice to see Africans doing things. I’m always rooting for the Africans.

Right-wingers don’t tend to like South Africa due to the persecution of whites, including the mass murder of white farmers. Ramaphosa is not an anti-white extremist, and the ANC actually splintered over anti-white hatred, with Ramaphosa having defended whites. However, I will say, he is not yet opening an inquiry into the murders, although he may be on the way to doing that.

He is also the leader of a party that wants to seize white people’s land without compensation. So I’m not going to endorse him or approve of his record. I will just say: he’s not one of the ones you see calling for whites to be outright killed.

Obviously, I don’t endorse the ANC.

That said, the issue of white rights in South Africa is a separate issue from South Africa’s geopolitical positions, and Ramaphosa has been vocal in his support for Russia.

Poland capturing his people was likely revenge for that recent interview his secretary general gave, where he mocked the idea of arresting Putin.

South Africa is also planning to leave the ICC in response to Putin’s arrest warrant.

It does sort of seem like Poland thinks they can mess with them because they are black. They obviously wouldn’t do this to the Chinese, but they probably wouldn’t do it to the Malaysians or Vietnamese either.

It might be that NATO really are the real racists.
