We have definitely witnessed a strange evolution of straw-grabbery over the last two months.

Failed attempts to “destroy Russia from within” forced Ukraine and its Western “handlers” to turn to terror measures, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Monday.
Speaking at a meeting of the Prosecutor General’s Office Board, Putin outlined how, in his opinion, the priorities of Europe and the US in regard to Russia and its military operation in Ukraine had changed over the last few weeks.
First, he said, “high-ranking diplomats in Europe and the United States” were engaged in a “strange diplomacy,” urging their “Ukrainian satellites” to do everything possible “to win on the battlefield.”
Putin was apparently referring to a recent controversial statement by top EU diplomat Josep Borrell, who, following his visit to Kiev, said that “this war will be won on the battlefield.” During a conversation last week with European Council President Charles Michel, Putin pointed to the “irresponsible statements of the EU representatives about the need to resolve the situation in Ukraine by military means.”
In Putin’s opinion, the West has since changed its goal.
“… As they realise that this is impossible, they try to achieve a different objective instead – to split Russian society, to destroy Russia from within. But here, too, there is a hitch; this hasn’t worked either,” Putin said.
In his opinion, Russian society “has shown maturity, solidarity,” and supports its armed forces and the efforts “to ensure Russia’s ultimate security and help the people of Donbass.”
After a ‘fiasco’ in the media field, Putin claimed, the West has turned “to terror, to arranging the murder of our journalists.”
He was referring to Monday’s announcement by Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) that it had detained a group of “neo-Nazis” instructed by the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) to kill popular Russian TV host and journalist Vladimir Solovyov. Kiev has denied any role in organizing the assassination attempt.
“In this regard, it should be noted of course that we know the names of all the Western handlers, of all members of Western services, primarily the CIA, who are working with Ukrainian security agencies. Apparently, they are giving them such advice,” the Russian leader said.
He added sarcastically that “This is their attitude towards the rights of journalists, towards the dissemination of information; this is their attitude towards human rights in general.”
“All they care about is their own rights, some cherishing imperial ambitions, others holding on to their colonial past in the old-fashioned way. But this will not work in Russia,” Putin claimed.
This doesn’t even really scratch the surface of the kind of madness we’ve witnessed in the last two months.
I’m not particularly stupid, so my understanding from the beginning of this provocation was that the West was planning to try to divide Russian society. They’d been doing these riots against Putin with their Soros trainees for years already.
But then when they finally got their response from Russia, instead of attacking Putin solely and showing “support for the Russian people who are also oppressed by the regime,” they went completely insane and started attacking all Russian people directly, particularly with financial sanctions, but then with something that was probably even worse, sanctioning Russian culture – canceling Russian concerts and banning classic Russian literature. Then they started just outright banning Russian people from everywhere.
You would not do that if you wanted the Russian people to turn against Putin. You would only do that if you wanted the people to rally around the flag, or if you were just utterly incompetent. As I cannot see any possible reason that they would want Russians to be rallied, the only explanation is that these people are stupid.

The US government is run by spoiled brats who can’t possibly imagine that they will ever be anything other than on top of the world, looking down on the masses, and dictating reality to them.
So I would not really be surprised if they are panicking and doing outright bizarre actions, like trying to assassinate television presenters. Putin is presenting evidence for that claim, and what he is saying about knowing the names of CIA advisors who hatched the plot – I believe it.
You people need to remember that the CIA was running the Afghanistan operation. Before that, they got their terrorists beaten very badly by Russians in Syria. People think the CIA is run by 1950s style masterminds, and that is just simply not true. It is decadent and nepotistic. It is so deeply involved in weird shit – child trafficking and bizarre African secret war operations, and all manner of other strange and dastardly things – that they can only get unhinged psychos at the high levels of the organization. Any normal person who knew what they were doing would be like “what the hell is wrong with you people?”
That’s the underlying problem: intelligence correlates with morality. The West is utterly morally bankrupt, so it can only be run by morons and psychopaths.
Now, Elon Musk is making a move.
I’ve had mixed feelings about Musk, and still do, but I’m 100% behind whatever his play is.

What I am seeing is that these people have walked right up to the edge and are dancing a drunken jig on the cliffs.
If Elon Musk really cares about freedom, he should spend his $46 billion helping Ukraine defeat Putin and Russia, rather than buying Twitter.

The external pressure is reaching max levels, as the US is now trying to draw China into all of this. If Musk and the boys are able to stir up some internal pressure, well…
