Richard Spencer’s Press Conference on Charlottesville (Now with ANALYSIS)

Sorry, I forgot to update this.

It’s not live anymore.

Busy day here at Daily Stormer HQ in Lagos.

The press conference was Spencer’s best performance yet, by far.

I know people are frustrated with how he performed at the actual event, but that’s not his strength. Doing stuff like this is his strength and he did great.

His answer to question about the Donald Trump disavowal was the best part – he said that it was just boilerplate kumbaya nonsense that only a stupid person could believe, and Trump is not a stupid person.

He also said that the Alt-Right relationship to Trump is complicated, and this is a definite fact.

Donald Trump is not Alt-Right, he is not “sympathetic” to the Alt-Right. We agree on a lot of things, we disagree on things, but in the end we are both good for each other.

Jason Kessler, who organized the Charlottesville rally, is not Alt-Right and described his belief system as basically wanting to go back to the fifties. I think that’s basically Trump’s vision for America. It’s a nice idea, and maybe even I would agree to it if I thought it was possible but I don’t think it’s possible.

Point being – people who hold that view don’t view us as that far away from their own view as to be “evil.” This is the Overton Window concept – it applies to individuals as well as society as a whole.

People who hold a certain view see the views closer to their own view as within the realm of possible thought.

I’m not mad about Trump’s denouncement. It was just a dumb thing he was forced into saying. There is no way he personally believes something that stupid.

Spencer also said he won’t denounce the Dodge driver until we know what happened. This was also well-stated. He’s been convicted in the court of public opinion as a murderer, and they’re going for “terrorist,” but I think – and I think a court might end up ruling – that is was manslaughter. I think there was an element of road rage and an element of panic (mitigating circumstance), but the idea that he went there planning to kill someone is as stupid as the idea that Trump believed that gibberish statement he made today.

His windshield was cracked before the crash. Meaning someone had thrown a brick at his windshield.

The most likely explanation is “road rage.”

The media is currently trying to frame us as “terrorists.” That is the narrative. But it is going to fall apart, like all of their narratives do.

Anyway, I was going to do a big write-up of the would-be rally. Then all of this stuff happened today. I will try to do it tomorrow. We’ve now got more perspective, that’s for sure.
