A weird new music video from pervert Negress Rihanna is ostensibly intended to show solidarity with unarmed teens who are getting shot down across America in acts of racist murder by White cops, but it instead comes across as a cross between a declaration of war and an announcement of victory.
Images of both modern and historical Black violence are transposed across images of the moon landing, cowboys and various other classic American symbols of Whiteness. It is very clearly saying “this is us against you, and we’re winning.”
The monkey herself (who isn’t even from this country) is positioned in front of the American flag throughout, announcing “this is the new America.”
