DeSantis is going big on Biden while that sickening cripple from Texas just flops around.
The Republican governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, plans to offer $5,000 bonuses to lure police officers from other states who resist vaccine mandates.
“We’re actually actively working to recruit out-of-state law enforcement,” DeSantis told Fox News.
Many US cities and government agencies have introduced vaccination mandates for public employees. Resistance among police officers and other first responders has been widely picked up by rightwing media figures and politicians using opposition to Covid public health measures to attack the Biden administration and other Democratic authorities.
“We do have needs in our police and our sheriff’s departments,” DeSantis said. “So, in the next legislative session, I’m going to hopefully sign legislation that gives a $5,000 bonus to any out-of-state law enforcement that relocates in Florida.
“NYPD [New York], Minneapolis, Seattle, if you’re not being treated well, we will treat you better here. You can fill important needs for us, and we will compensate you as a result.”
This is a number one top tier policy.
He’s literally paying people to come in – purebloods!
As long as he can stack the state with purebloods, he can keep winning elections. State elections are run by the state, so the Bidens can’t come down there and push people around. He should also build policies to run out the Jews and blacks. Particularly the blacks, as they’re a big voting block. He just needs to massively cut social services, and then start giving them bus tickets to blue states.
The Cuban population already controls for Mexicans by locking down all the Spanish-speaking areas and establishments.
DeSantis should NOT run for President. He will lose, because national elections are 100% rigged, and he has nothing to gain if he wins. As we saw with Trump, the executive is impotent, beyond a bully pulpit.
Meanwhile, if he keeps resisting the feds, we have the beginnings of a Confederacy.

I’m confused…why should DeSantis need to recruit officers from other states. If his policy fails officers not being required to be vaccinated is so popular shouldn’t there be enough Floridians to fill the spots?

why do they need more cops? i can see filing retirements but if he has covid so well under control they dont need to worry about losing cops to covid
