Shock as US Isn’t Really Leaving Syria After All

The iron-clad law of the Universe goes thusly: whenever the US invades a country, it never leaves.

And the second law of the Universe is that when Donald Trump says or tweets something, you can safely assume that only 10% of what he’s promising will be done – if that. The withdrawal did sort-of, kind-of happen, but it’s nothing to write home about.

ZOG isn’t going to let go of its toehold in Syria’s oil-rich east.

RT:

US actions to bolster its ‘illegal presence’ in Syria violate international law, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin said on Tuesday.

The statement comes shortly after Turkish media reported that two new American military bases are under construction in the oil-rich Deir ez-Zor province.

The province in question is in Syria’s southeast, near the border with Iraq.

There’s been a partial pullout – US troops have left the northeast of Syria, forcing the Kurds to make a deal with Assad again to avoid being wiped out by the Turks. Russians and Turkish soldiers patrol the northeast border together now – which is a bizarre and unexpected development. They also seem to be under the impression that the US is illegally occupying Syria.

The economics behind keeping the oil don’t really make sense – but start to become clearer when you realize that it’s not so much about making a profit on Syria’s oil as it is about keeping Assad from getting it and using the funds to rebuild the country.

Turkish media reported earlier on Tuesday that the US has started constructing two new military bases in the Deir ez-Zor governorate which is known for its oil reserves. It is claimed that one of the facilities is being built near the former Syrian Air Defense Forces’ 113th Brigade base and another in the al-Sur region.

Various factions have been in control of these oil fields at various points in the war. All of them have been sending the oil north via Turkey and then to Israel at a huge discount – that is, until the Russians started bombing the convoys.

So, would it be a stretch to say that the US is there to ensure that Israel gets its cut of Syria’s oil in the near future? No. No, it is not. The US has literally no reason for being in Syria and never does anything that is in the interests of America – only Israel, so I think this is a pretty fair assumption to make at this point.

Of course, it’s not really about oil. The oil is secondary, and a way to keep things rolling. The real purpose is to just keep the region in an absolute state of chaos.

It’s also a fair assumption that we will no doubt have soldiers deployed in Yemen and a handful of other countries soon as well. This is because the third iron-clad war of the Universe is that Israel’s wars never end and we will be fighting them until the last drop of American blood and the last dime of American treasure.
