The French government plans to introduce jail terms and fines for doctors who provide controversial so-called “virginity certificates” for traditional religious marriages.
It is part of draft legislation aimed at reinforcing French secular values and combating what President Emmanuel Macron calls “Islamist separatism”.
But the French abortion advice group ANCIC says stopping “virginity tests” requires broader educational work.
The UN says such tests must be stopped.
The French Interior Ministry says the bill – not yet fully debated by French politicians – proposes a year in jail and fine of €15,000 (£14,000) for any medical professional who issues a “virginity certificate”.
According to France 3 TV news, about 30% of French doctors say they have been asked for such certificates and most of them refuse.
The World Health Organization says the practice of inspecting the hymen visually or with fingers cannot prove whether a woman or girl has had vaginal intercourse or not. It also violates her human rights, the WHO says.
Why does a man not have a right to request that his wife be a virgin?
Why does a woman not have a right to prove to a man she is a virgin?
Remember when they said that homosexuality should be legal because it is “two consenting adults”?
That reasoning is now completely gone from the public discourse. They used it as a trick to get you to go along with something they wanted you to go along with, then did away with it.
This is what they always do: they present ideological reasoning for whatever it is they want you to do, then they do away with it when it isn’t useful to them.
Right now, literal libertarianism is being used to explain why tech companies have a unilateral right to censor political dissidents. They say that a private company can do whatever they want to anyone, and the government has no right to regulate a private company. The people making those arguments are the same people who tell you that it is the government’s job to force a small Christian bakery to bake an anal cake.
All of this ideological mumbo-jumbo is only designed to get you to go along with hurting yourself.

You cannot tolerate ideology. Politics cannot be ideological. You have to look at politics in terms of what is good for you and for your agenda, period.
The ruling elite are not going to honor your ideological agreement that you think you’ve made. After man-on-man anal is legal, they will make it illegal for you to send your betrothed to a doctor to check her hymen. And this is the thing: they will never give you an ideological explanation as to what changed. They will just do it.
Other Things
There are a lot of other things you could say about the French government outlawing virginity tests.
I think the “slut power” angle is obviously enough that everyone gets it without me having to spell it out. Of course, women will always demand unlimited ability to act with no consequences. They want to do gang-bangs with ten black guys and then wear a white dress and get married to a rich guy, and they will create laws that make it so they can do that. Someone should stand up to them.
Also obviously worthy of note is that all women are whores, regardless of their religious or racial background.
But the other interesting thing is that this is obviously an Islamic practice. (Indian Hindus and some African Christians also do it, but in France it is going to be primarily Moslems.) So what you have is the government, who will endorse Islam if it is hurting white people, attacking Islam because it is standing in the way of a progressive, feminist, anti-social agenda.
It’s fine if Islam dominates the world, as long as they don’t interfere with a woman’s ability to avoid any and all consequences for their behavior.
Again: they will say one thing and then do some other thing when it suits them. They will tell you that you have to accept all this weird Islamic crap in your face, but then if some Islamic thing is in the way of their agenda, they will not hesitate to start rounding up Moslems and throwing them in jail for practicing their religion.
Frankly, the only people who can never be questioned are Jews. No matter how politically correct we get, Jews will still be allowed to mutilate their children’s genitals. Jews will still be allowed to torture chickens to death in satanic blood rituals.
But everyone else is going to do whatever the elite want them to do, and they’ll come up with some explanation as to why you have to do it on the spot.
