Spring is Here and America is Opening, But Angela Merkel is Calling for a New Extreme Lockdown

A bunch of American states are removing the mask mandates, and the UK is ending its lockdown for the summer.

But Germany is demanding a more extreme lockdown.

Reuters:

Chancellor Angela Merkel supports demands for a short, tough lockdown in Germany to curb the spread of the coronavirus as infection rates are too high, a German government spokeswoman said on Wednesday.

Germany is struggling to tackle a third wave of the pandemic and several regional leaders have called for a short, sharp lockdown while the country tries to vaccinate more people.

Wow, Germany’s only on the third wave?

Most countries are facing a fourth wave.

Did Germany skip a wave?

“The Third Wave” was the sequel to “Future Shock” by Alvin Toffler.

Those books are dated, but still relevant. They’re very relevant to this discussion, in fact. In the 1970s, Toffler predicted the shape of 2020s globalism with some precision.

German bureaucrats are talking exclusively about numbers of positive PCR tests. There is no longer any talk of death tolls, nor are there any answers to questions about the efficacy of the PCR test.

“Every call for a short, uniform lockdown is right,” deputy government spokeswoman Ulrike Demmer told reporters, adding Germany was seeing a growing number of intensive care patients.

“We need a stable incidence below 100,” she said, referring to the number of cases over seven days per 100,000 inhabitants. It is currently 110.1, according to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) for infectious diseases.

She also said the government was looking at whether nationwide, rather than regional, measures were needed.

“The range of regulations does not help acceptance,” said Demmer. While some states have imposed night-time curfews over Easter, others are experimenting with some easing of restrictions.

Merkel pressed regional leaders on March 28 to step up efforts to curb rapidly rising coronavirus infections, adding a thinly veiled threat that she would otherwise have to consider what steps could be taken on a nationwide basis.

One option would be to amend the Infection Protection Act to stipulate what should happen under certain scenarios and which could enable the federal government to enforce a nationwide lockdown without getting approval of the 16 state premiers.

Demmer said the government was still looking into this option, but that no final decision had been taken yet.

Ulrike Demmer is a horrible woman.

All of these women are just so horrible.

Putting women in charge of anything is such a vile concept.

If only we’d had some kind of instructionary book, warning us of the dangers of modern liberal values…

It would have been a true blessing from God to have been given such a book.

It is clearly purposeful that all of these countries have different rules happening at the same time. You see there that Merkel is saying that there have to be national rules – well, that is going to be the argument on the global scale.

This is a rapid way to leap toward global government, under necessity of a shared struggle.

Remember the 1983 Ronald Reagan speech to the United Nations, where he said an alien threat would unify the world?

He said: “Perhaps we need some outside universal threat to make us recognize this common bound [sic]. I occasionally think of how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world. And yet I ask you: is not an alien force already among us?”

Why was the conservative hero Ronald Reagan trying to build a global government, you ask? I don’t know. You’d have to ask the conservatives.

But here we are.

That dumb ni– that genius scientist Neil Tyson, who is famous for memorizing other people’s ideas and repeating them while having dark skin, has been shilling the “alien threat” metaphor since the virus lockdowns started.

This Stygian personage is arguably a fraud, as it isn’t clear at all what he is other than a tape recorder. The only time he ever did science was when he cooked up a cocktail to rape bitches*. He is literally famous for repeating things other people said. So he is a fount of consensus belief. This “virus as alien threat” concept has not just been focus-grouped – it has been run through ultra-sophisticated simulations on supercomputers.

They are close enough now they can just ram this on through.

They’re going to snuff out national sovereignty like Derek Chauvin snuffed out George Floyd.

I really wish someone would have done something to stop this from happening. I do feel, pretty much, like I’ve done everything I could do, as one man. Sometimes I wish I would have written even more.

When this really comes down on us over the next five years, we’re all going to wish we’d done more. I can promise you that.

*Here are some of the allegations. They’re also in his Wiki. Obviously, I don’t “believe all women” as is the demand of the media. By default, I don’t believe any rape accusations should even be considered potentially valid, ever, unless there is physical evidence – i.e., injuries or a blood test showing potential date rape drugs. But injuries or drugs should simply be the starting point of considering that an allegation could be true. In no single metoo case was there any evidence. But it is funny that the single remaining black “public intellectual” was able to sprint his way out of the lion’s maw of metoo, while poor Ben Affleck was forced into issuing a public apology for grabbing a bitch’s ass in the 1990s. I wrote earlier today of how uneven the enforcement of these leftist rules are – Harvey Weinstein’s Jewishness couldn’t save him from rape hoaxes, Tyson’s blackness did save him from rape hoaxes, but being black can’t save you from allegations of anti-Semitism.
