The Senate agreed to homosexual Jew-lover Lindsey Graham’s demands that the State Department declare Russia a “sponsor of terror,” because they are sponsoring their own army, which Lindsey believes is “just the worst.”
RT:
Officially designating Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism by the US State Department over its actions in Ukraine would limit the ability of the White House to “exempt some transactions with Russia from Western penalties,” the New York Times reported on Friday, citing a senior US official.
The paper said these exemptions could include ensuring that food exports from Russia are not disrupted by sanctions.
The State Department currently lists Iran, Syria, Cuba, and North Korea as state sponsors of terrorism.
According to the Times, designating Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism could completely sever the already constrained diplomatic ties between Moscow and Washington. State Department officials were said to view the designation as the “nuclear option.”
Responding to a request by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, the US Senate unanimously passed a non-binding resolution on Thursday calling for Secretary of State Antony Blinken to do just that. Zelensky repeatedly accused Russia of purposefully killing civilians in Ukraine, while Moscow insists that its troops only strike military targets.
That isn’t happening, but even if it was happening, it wouldn’t be terrorism. “Terrorism” has to be irregulars engaged in some kind of asymmetrical warfare, in particular for the purpose of forcing a government to meet a political demand.
Viz: “The Norwegian Anal Pride parade was canceled after a terrorist shot up a gay bar.”
The designation wouldn’t do anything, actually. Russia is already more sanctioned than Iran. The only real life effect this would have is that Russia could, if they wanted to, start funding Hamas and there would be no new label you could give them, because you already called their military a terror group and denounced them for funding their own military.
It would also make the US even more of a joke country than it already is. If invading a country you view as a threat to your security is “terrorism,” then what is the Iraq war?
It’s just stupid to start lobbing around these terms.
They are already accusing Russia of war crimes, which is something a military can actually commit, based on the definition of terms. If you say the Russian military is a terrorist army, you’re just using words wrong.
They are just saying “Russia is so bad that they are every bad thing at once.”
So, they’ve already accused them of being Nazis and doing a Holocaust.
What is the second worst thing?
That’s right: slavery.
And who did slavery?
That’s right: the Confederacy.
Lindsey Graham should pass a bill demanding the State Department accuse Russia of forming a Confederacy.
This is not only more evil than terrorism, it actually makes much more sense.
But I guess as per their own definitions-mongering, they don’t want to make analogies to the Civil War, because technically, according to their own definitions, the “Ukraine War” is a “civil war,” because the key belligerents are the DPR and LPR, which are Ukrainian nationals, according to their definitions.
This is a lot more of a “civil war” than the Syrian war, which they called “The Brutal Syrian Civil War.” That was actually driven more or less entirely by irregular foreign nationals, who were originally based in Iraq.
But clearly, they want to keep it out of people’s minds that the military on the front lines of the Russia side of this war are, according to them, Ukrainians. That’s why Lindsey Graham refuses to acknowledge the fact that Russia has formed a confederacy.
Lindsey is giving aid and comfort to Putin’s evil, redpilled plan to enslave the Ukraine under his confederacy.
Fun Fact
It was reported that this was passed “unanimously,” and I wanted to look up to see if Rand Paul and Josh Hawley voted for it. It turns out that term is not really correct, because all non-binding resolutions are a voice vote, which means no record is kept of who votes nay.
They need to pass a binding resolution against the Russian Confederacy before Russia starts binding Ukrainians in slave shackles.
