The Supreme Court is shit.
I was told that “the one good thing” orange man did was bring “conservative” judges to the court, but they just denied two very important cases.
The Supreme Court on Monday decided not to “Free the Nipple,” refusing to hear an appeal by three women fined by a city in New Hampshire for exposing their breasts in public who argued that banning female but not male toplessness violates the U.S. Constitution.
The justices left in place a 2019 ruling by New Hampshire’s top court upholding the women’s convictions for violating an ordinance in the city of Laconia that makes it illegal to show female breasts in public “with less than a fully opaque covering of any part of the nipple.”
The women – Heidi Lilley, Kia Sinclair and Ginger Pierro – were involved in the “Free the Nipple” movement, which court papers described as campaigns against “sexualized objectification of women” and in favor of women being able to go topless in public if they wish.
Pierro was arrested on a beach on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in May 2016 where she was performing yoga while topless. Lilley and Sinclair were both arrested days later while topless on another beach where they were protesting Pierro’s arrest.
The three women were given suspended fines of $100 each, on condition of subsequent good behavior.
Among the legal arguments made by the women is that any law that punishes women for exposing their breasts while allowing men to go shirtless violates the Constitution’s 14th Amendment, which requires that laws be applied equally to everyone.
The best ruling there would have been that men who have breasts are now also banned from going topless.
That would really be a snub to Obama.
But for serious: it would have been an opportunity to say “no, slut – the male and female anatomy are different, and breasts developed as a sexual organ, for the purpose of causing sexual arousal in men, thus women going topless is sexual harassment of men.”
They could cite recent science, which has not yet been labeled neo-Nazi propaganda.

This is very straightforward. No evolutionary biologist – or sexologist, for that matter – is going to claim that a topless man and a topless woman mean the same thing.
The other case the court denied this week is even worse.
The Supreme Court said Monday it would not take up an appeal brought by Michelle Carter, the young woman who encouraged her boyfriend, through texts and phone calls, to kill himself.
The court’s refusal to take the case leaves her conviction intact.
The Carter case attracted worldwide attention and was the subject of a 2019 HBO documentary, “I Love You, Now Die: The Commonwealth V. Michelle Carter.”
The court declined to decide whether her involuntary manslaughter conviction violated the First Amendment guarantee of free speech because it was based solely on words that she texted or spoke. She was sentenced to 15 months in jail.
This case was insane and obvious.
The idea you can be held responsible for another person’s actions – even if you tell them to do something – overthrows the entire basis of the Western legal system.
It was not a hard call.

This was a situation where that bitch got locked up because no one wanted to defend a nasty bitch who told her boyfriend to kill himself. It is a blatant case of miscarriage of justice due to an emotionally-charged situation.
For the record, I also do believe that it is a good thing her boyfriend killed himself, because any man who would take the advice of a woman deserves to be dead.
I also think Michelle Carter is cute and a good person and I want her to be my girlfriend when she gets out of prison. Which should be pretty soon.
Although sadly, it looks like her unjust imprisonment might have turned her into a dyke.
Point being: the fact that I am a member of #MichelleCarterFanNetwork is not influencing my objectivity on this matter.
EVERYONE has a right to advise other people to kill themselves.
