Sure, Maybe the Mueller Thing was Fake – But This Other Russian Hacking Hoax is Serious Business!

In the middle of the debacle over the Robert Mueller testimony AKA the Robert Mueller elder abuse session, the Senate Intelligence Committee is announcing a whole new Russian hoax that somehow completely fell outside of the purview of senile Mueller’s two-year investigation.

Just imagine that as soon as we get to the point where everyone is kinda like “okay, looks like this whole thing was fake all along,” they double down with an entirely new phase of the hoax, saying “no really, for real, we’re serious this time – we have new information that is really, really not a complete hoax.”

The kookspiracy rides again.

New York Times:

The Senate Intelligence Committee concluded Thursday that election systems in all 50 states were targeted by Russia in 2016, an effort more far-reaching than previously acknowledged and one largely undetected by the states and federal officials at the time.

But while the bipartisan report’s warning that the United States remains vulnerable in the next election is clear, its findings were so heavily redacted at the insistence of American intelligence agencies that even some key recommendations for 2020 were blacked out.

The report — the first volume of several to be released from the committee’s investigation into Russia’s 2016 election interference — came 24 hours after the former special counsel Robert S. Mueller III warned that Russia was moving again to interfere “as we sit here.”

While details of many of the hackings directed by Russian intelligence, particularly in Illinois and Arizona, are well known, the committee described “an unprecedented level of activity against state election infrastructure” intended largely to search for vulnerabilities in the security of the election systems.

It concluded that while there was no evidence that any votes were changed in actual voting machines, “Russian cyberactors were in a position to delete or change voter data” in the Illinois voter database. The committee found no evidence that they did so.

In his testimony to two House committees on Wednesday, Mr. Mueller had sought to highlight the continued threat that Russia or other adversaries would seek to interfere in the 2020 elections. He said many more “countries are developing capability to replicate what the Russians have done.”

They always bring this up, and imply that Donald Trump was elected by Russians, but then say “actually, even though the Russians could have changed votes, they didn’t do it for some reason.”

They’re not willing to go the whole way and say that our entire election system is useless, because that creates problems for them.

Our entire election system actually is useless, because of the cockblocking of voter ID laws making it so easy for illegal immigrants and other non-citizens to vote. But that isn’t a discussion they want to have.

All they want to do is scream hysterical nonsense about Russians, use innuendo to suggest that Trump is illegitimate, then do endless cockblocking.

I’m a little bit shocked they’re coming out with another hoax so soon. It seems like they’re risking their own credibility. But apparently, they know there are a certain number of people who will always believe, and they are just going to keep playing to them, in order to create a general chaos in the system.

They have definitely jumped the shark.

They are completely unconcerned about presenting evidence for any of these claims.

The Pissgate hoax was taken seriously enough that they’ve just completely thrown out the idea of needing evidence. They just make outrageous claims and say “you can believe us tho, we wouldn’t lie – we’re God’s chosen people.”
