Taiwan Says PRC Getting Ready to Invade Their Stupid Fake Country

Who knows if this is true. I don’t know. It seems like now is about as good a time as any to act. The US is clearly trying to wrap up the Ukraine debacle, and I would think acting while that is still going on would be a good idea.

What’s more, the Ukraine is not surrendering, and at this point, there is no reason for Putin to accept a surrender. So if the US gets tied up in China, Putin can just bulldoze all the way through the Ukraine.

I think now is the time to go. It’s already been proved to the Chinese people that the US is not going to reach any kind of agreement, and they are hellbent on violent conflict, so I don’t see any reason for China to wait. The longer they wait, the more expensive taking Taiwan is going to become.

RT:

China is using its large-scale militarily exercises around Taiwan to prepare for an invasion of the self-governed island, Taipei’s Foreign Minister Joseph Wu claimed on Tuesday.

“China has used the drills and its military playbook to prepare for the invasion of Taiwan,” Wu said during a press conference.

Beijing is engaging in “large-scale military exercises and missile launches, as well as cyber-attacks, a disinformation campaign and economic coercion in order to weaken public morale in Taiwan,” the diplomat insisted.

Remember: drills were the excuse for Russia to gather its military to invade the Ukraine.

This is really the only way to do it: you have to say you are doing drills, because what other excuse would you have for positioning your military?

Then again – it could just be drills. No one knows.

China launched war games including live-fire drills in six maritime areas around Taiwan last week in response to US House Speaker Nanacy Pelosi’s visit to the island.

According to the minister, the drills were still being conducted in the Taiwan Strait on Monday, despite Beijing earlier saying that they would conclude over the weekend.

“China’s real intention is to alter the status quo in the Taiwan Strait and entire region,” he claimed.

Wu labeled the exercises a “gross violation of Taiwan’s rights” and an attempt by Beijing to take control of the waters around Taiwan and the wider Asia-Pacific.

Taiwan is not a country, it is a separatist, terrorist, anal rebellion. It doesn’t have any rights.

The minister was speaking after Taipei staged its own live-fire drills, simulating defence against an attack on the island.

The Chinese Defense Ministry said on Monday that the military was continuing its exercises in the waters and airspace around the island of Taiwan, mainly focusing on anti-submarine and air-to-sea assault operations.

Yeah, China is at a disadvantage on submarines. That’s the real relevant gap. Though I don’t really think that is a big deal. I am also not a military strategist.

The Chinese could in theory just forget about Taiwan as they have for decades, and just let the status quo stand. This is obviously what they wanted to do.

But unfortunately for someone, the Nuclear Nancy invasion means that they have to do something sooner rather than later. The US insisted on violating the status quo, so the status quo no longer exists, so China has no real option other than to act.

Obviously, if I was the advisor to any country, the world would be in a constant state of war. So I understand that other people have different ideas about strategy. But something has to give on the Taiwan problem, and the US does not have the ability to defend Taiwan, and any response the US makes to an invasion by China is going to put the US in a much worse position than they are in right now.

So in my strong professional opinion, they should just go for it.
