Charleston Police Department says US Marshals arrested Shannon Lamont Johnson, 18, in connection to a deadly Hanover St. shooting on Thursday.
Timothy Haman, Jr., died at 8:10 PM after being taken to MUSC, according to the Coroner’s Office.
The West Lenevar Drive man is charged with murder, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
Johnson is being held at the Charleston County Detention Center, and waived his bond hearing on Wednesday.
According to the Detention Center, Johnson was arrested in April for failure to stop, possession of a stolen vehicle worth less than $2,000, no moped license, and disregarding a stop sign.
