So much for fair competition!
The Ukraine literally won Eurovision because the government of their country started a war with Russia!

Ukraine’s Kalush Orchestra has won the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, after making a plea on stage to help save Ukrainian fighters holed up in Mariupol, and receiving landslide support from the European public in a phone and online vote.
“I ask all of you, please help Ukraine, Mariupol. Help Azovstal, right now,” he said, referring to the besieged steel plant. Currently, only fighters from the neo-Nazi Azov regiment and some units of the Ukrainian military are believed to be inside the facility. Last week, both Russia and Ukraine said the evacuation of civilians from the sprawling industrial complex was complete.
“Our courage impresses the world, our music conquers Europe! Next year Ukraine will host Eurovision!” President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday night, after the final results were announced.
“We will do our best to one day host the participants and guests of Eurovision in Ukrainian Mariupol,” the president added, referring to the Azov Sea port city currently controlled by Russian forces.
He should have said “Ukrainian Moscow.”
I would actually be more impressed if this guy was going the whole way, and saying he was going to conquer Russia. Frankly, he has about as much chance of conquering Mariupol as he does of conquering Moscow.
This song is like, very bad cancer.
If this thing was going to be rigged, why couldn’t they just send some pretty girl to sing a love ballad? Why did they have to do some weird costume rap cancer?
To be fair, I don’t think Eurovision has ever claimed to have fair competition.
Remember when they chose the bearded transsexual because he was a bearded transsexual?
I guess this happens because the winner is voted on not by a panel of judges, but by the sickening and godless peasantry.
Good news, however!
While Russia was not allowed to participate because they are alleged to be pure evil, Serbia, the only country in Europe really supporting Russia, came in second place. They only had half the votes of the Ukraine, but still – they beat every other country.
Frankly, Serbia’s entry was not much better than the Ukraine entry, so I think it’s safe to say people were just voting politically.
So if we analyze these votes, we have 2-to-1 support for the Ukraine over Russia, but a third of political voters supporting Russia is not bad. Could be worse.
