Three Coloreds Arrested for Killing White Woman and Asian Man in Triple Shooting

I never thought I’d see the day when a victim has an even funnier name than the blacks who killed him.

The two people killed in a triple shooting early Wednesday morning have been identified by the Allen County Coroner’s Office. Fort Wayne police have arrested three people for the crime which left a third person with life-threatening injuries.

Mon Ong, 21, of Fort Wayne died from a gunshot wound to the chest and Brooke J. Wendel, 23, died from a gunshot wound to the head. Both deaths have been ruled homicides.

According to a department spokesperson, a friend of the victims stopped by 2405 Barnhart Avenue around 12:30 a.m. and found them shot inside the home.

Police responded and began providing emergency care to the victims.

Medics also responded and pronounced one of the men dead at the scene. Medics took another man and a woman to a hospital in critical condition. The woman later died at the hospital according to the Allen County Coroner’s Office.

Just after 3 p.m. Wednesday, police announced they’d arrested three people.

Kyaw Hlang, 22, faces 2 counts of Murder and 2 counts of Felony Murder, as well as charges of Robbery, Warrant Probation Violation, and Warrant Violation of Reentry Court.

Kerwins Louis, 20, faces two counts of Felony Murder as well as Robbery and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Jamesley Paul, 23, faces two counts of Felony Murder and one count of Robbery.

The trio was arrested by Gang and Narcotics officers at different locations on Wednesday.
