We still don’t know why this nog from Guinea-Bissau (average IQ: 67) decided to exact revenge on these two doctors.

Was she sleeping with him, and then he got jealous and homicidal when she called it off?

That would be the Occam’s Razor explanation.

WCVB:

A trial began Thursday for a man charged with murder in connection with the deaths of two Boston doctors.

Dr. Richard Field, 49, and his fiancee, Dr. Lina Bolanos, 38, we’re found bound and stabbed to death in May 2017 in their South Boston condominium.

Bampumim Teixeira has pleaded not guilty to their murders. Prosecutors alleged Teixeira had previously worked as a concierge in the building and used insider knowledge to gain access to their penthouse.

“Although the why to this story may never be fully explained to your satisfaction, the who will absolutely never be in doubt,” said prosecutor John Pappas.

Both were found bound with handcuffs and Bolanos had been stabbed repeatedly in the neck, Pappas said.

“(Field was found) dead in pool of his own blood. His hands bound behind his back with handcuffs,” Pappas said. “Lina Bolanos also in a pool of her blood after having been stabbed repeatedly in the neck.”

Teixeria was shot by Boston police as they responded to the scene after Field called 911 repeatedly and texted a friend to get help.

The 38-year-old Bolanos was a pediatric anesthesiologist at Massachusetts Eye and Ear.

The 49-year-old Field was an anesthesiologist at North Shore Pain Management.
