Trump Blames China for Hacking His Re-Election, Wonders About UFOs; Joe Biden Endorses Pete Buttigieg

A few days ago, the Pentagon “officially” released three videos of military aircraft encounters with UFOs, which had already been released in 2017-2018 by a private company, and acknowledged by the Navy last September.

We did not report on this recent development because it was not actually news. I assumed that this was an attempt by the government to slide other news stories. There were plenty of other outlets shamelessly feeding off of this and running headlines implying that this was a new thing.

Now, in the midst of blaming China for trying to hack his re-election, the Pumpkin Dictator has made a very short statement of disbelief in his own military intelligence, spawning a new flood of clickbait.

Reuters:

U.S. President Donald Trump said he believes China’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic is proof that Beijing “will do anything they can” to make him lose his re-election bid in November.

In an interview with Reuters in the Oval Office on Wednesday, Trump talked tough on China and said he was looking at different options in terms of consequences for Beijing over the virus. “I can do a lot,” he said.

Asked whether he was considering the use of tariffs or even debt write-offs for China, Trump would not offer specifics. “There are many things I can do,” he said. “We’re looking for what happened.”

“China will do anything they can to have me lose this race,” said Trump. He said he believes Beijing wants his Democratic opponent, Joe Biden, to win the election to ease the pressure Trump has placed on China over trade and other issues.

One of the things I liked about 2016 Trump is that he wasn’t baselessly accusing foreign powers of hacking the election.

He must figure that he can do this now, and no one will criticize him for it, to avoid mentioning the other thing.

We now need a Trump – China version of this meme.

It softens the “Trump Russia” chant if he does “Biden China” since there’s no fast way to decide between two men accusing each other of the same thing. Maybe from now on, both candidates in every election will always accuse each other of being foreign assets until we stop having elections.

One could hope that the media would fixate on this new low point in partisan rhetoric, and its troubling implications for Democracy.

But, instead, they are talking about flying saucers.

At the end of the half-hour interview, Trump offered lighthearted remarks about a newly released Navy video purportedly showing an unidentified flying object.

“I just wonder if it’s real,” he said. “That’s a hell of a video.”

Yes – he wonders if footage from military flight recorders is real, after the military, which he commands, has investigated it and questioned everyone involved.

Real news, folks.

I have spent the last years in the “bargaining” stage of grief with respect to the Carrot-In-Chief. I would say to myself that “at least, by doing nothing, he isn’t advancing the anti-American agenda.”

Well, what we are experiencing right now, this is the agenda. Shutting everything down, destroying the middle class more than it has already been destroyed – this has been radically accelerated to the point that Barack Obama could be seen now as a relatively pro-white figure.

I enjoyed the Human Traffic Cone’s hyperbole and irreverence in his election campaign. It was an insult to the electoral process, which richly deserved to be insulted. I am enjoying it a lot less now that he is responding to the deliberate collapse of our society with this same outlandishness. I wish he would just be sober and real for once.

If he loses to Pete Buttigieg, I won’t even get mad.

RT:

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden said he will serve as a “transition candidate” in the 2020 race, arguing his primary role is to funnel new voices and ideas into government – rather than govern himself.

“I view myself as a transition candidate,” Biden said during a virtual fundraising event on Thursday, adding “My job … is to bring the Mayor Petes of the world into this administration … and even when they don’t come in, their ideas come into this administration.”

Biden’s plan is for Anal Pete to come into the administration.

No pun intended. But wasn’t that Pete’s plan?

Jumping far ahead of the election in November, as well as the Democratic nominating convention, Biden described his hopes for when he “leave[s] office,” saying he would handle “big issues” and garner attention for talented staffers who “haven’t been in the national spotlight enough.”

Then why is Biden taking up the spotlight?

“Vote for me, I’m a placeholder for that guy I beat in the primary” does not seem like something that would inspire people to turn out to the polls. This would be like if Trump had said, “Vote for me, my campaign is free publicity for my brand so I win either way” during the primaries.

Even if this is true, you still have to come up with something else.

We really need to think of some way of repairing our society, beyond voting for these elderly spokesmen. If I come up with something, I’ll let you all know.

I am just so very tired of this system. I think we have become so used to these abuses of sanity, that we no longer feel the pain.
