Following a massive reaction to a tweet I made about older women not being attractive, I decided it was time to give the sex talk to Twitter.
They were very shocked.
But someone had to do it.
Point #1: what is sex and why do people get horny?
Sex is a way to reproduce for the majority of lifeforms.
The drive for sex is a biological imperative, given that without the drive for sex, people would not commit sex, and the species would stop existing.

The biological imperative drives people not to have random sex, but to have the most reproductively beneficial sex possible.
This applies to both men and women, and the underlying subconscious drive determines who they are attracted to.

The preference for younger women does not differ across cultures, because it is biologically determined.

In my personal view, it is impossible to pass moral judgement on men for having been born with biological reproductive drives. Claiming that men who will admit to preferring younger women are somehow immoral is an attack on honesty.

Furthermore, we cannot pass judgement on women, who universally prefer men with high social status.

Among both sexes, you have people trying to deny these facts.
Women insist that they maintain sexual attractiveness after their fertility begins to wane.
Meanwhile, men imagine that if they are nice, women will not take note of their poverty.
Neither is real.

In fact, sex is about reproduction.
You will find this to be widely understood in third world countries, where women do not go around imagining that men will still be interested in them when they hit 30.

Most men are always going to prefer young women, and most women are always going to prefer high status men.
No one can morally judge anyone over these drives which are completely outside of our control.

On the whole, society would be much better off if people did not deny basic biology. It may feel good to imagine things are different than they are, but your feelings do not change reality.
