Tyson-Fury-1

Since winning the WBO, WBA and IBF Heavyweight Boxing Championship of the World, Britain’s Tyson Fury has seldom been out of the news and is now being referred to in establishment circles as ‘Tyson Fury: the boxer who picked a fight with the world’.

Apparently, Fury has made a number of public statements that have not been deemed politically correct and now that he has been nominated for the award of BBC Sports Personality of the Year, there is a campaign by homosexual rights groups and others, to have his nomination rejected.

During an interview before his title fight Tyson Fury reportedly told the Mail on Sunday’s Chief Sports Writer Oliver Holt, ‘There are only three things that need to be accomplished before the Devil comes home. One of them is homosexuality being legal in countries, one of them is abortion and the other is paedophilia’, and these few words have been seized upon by  journalists as expressions of gender based hatred and in this way have fuelled the campaign against Fury by homosexual rights campaigners.

If however Tyson’s words are read in the context of the whole conversation he had with Oliver Holt,  one can see immediately that Fury’s words are not expressions of hatred but were voiced in explanation of his deeply held religious beliefs and he is simply recounting what he has read in the Bible that the three things he mentions are signs of approaching Armageddon.

A partial transcript of that interview published by the Mail Online reads as follows:

TF: The bible tells me the end [of the world] is near. The world tells me the end is near. Just a little short few years, I reckon, away from being finished.

OH: Armageddon?

TF: Yeah.

OH: When you say the world tells you the end is near, do you mean the way we are abusing the planet and that kind of stuff?

TF: Abusing the planet, the wars in the Middle East, the famines, the earthquakes, the natural disasters, all these things are talked about 2,000 years ago before they even happened. Prophesised. So now it is all coming true. It says there will be a time when men lay with men and women lay with women and that’s accepted and it’s only in 1967 when these things were OK: abortions, being homosexual in public. So from 1967 until now. There are only three things that need to be accomplished before the Devil comes home. One of them is homosexuality being legal in countries, one of them is abortion and the other is paedophilia. So who would have thought in the 50s and early 60s that those first two would be legalised. When I say paedophiles can be made legal, that sounds like crazy talk doesn’t it but back in the 50s and early 60s, for them first two to be made legal would have been looked on as a crazy man again. If I would have told you 120 years ago that a thousand tonne aeroplane was going to float through the sky, a piece of steel, ludicrous. When Christopher Columbus said the world was round, he’s an idiot. All these things that happen in the world, wise men already know they are going to happen and they see what they really are. Foolish people follow the system, get caught up in media news, what the government want you to believe and the world and all the higher powers want you to believe and want you to be in the system, want you go down the same path as all the sheep in the cattle market.

OH: As you’ve already said, you probably don’t care, but a lot of people will be uncomfortable with that kind of view of homosexuality, that it is something wrong.

TF: To be honest, this is a free world we live in and an evil world. For me, people can say ‘oh, you’re against abortions and you’re against paedophilia, you’re against homosexuality, you’re against whatever’ but my faith and my culture is all based on the bible. The bible was written a long time ago, wasn’t it, from the beginning of time until now so if I follow that and that tells me it’s wrong, then it’s wrong for me. That’s just my opinion. How many people have different opinions in this world? (Pointing to a bottle on the table) Every different person has a different opinion of what that bottle really is or what colour is or something. If I say that bottle is clear, there will be someone out there telling me that bottle is green or blue or whatever. That’s just their opinion and my opinion. Well, my opinion is I follow what the Lord says, or try to. And what opinions of people out there who are doing what they are doing, they are following what they want to do. They are living for themselves. I am trying to live for God.

Clearly, Tyson Fury holds very traditional views that are not popular within modern metrosexual circles, in particular his views regarding male and female roles and regarding honour and sexual promiscuity, as well as his views on homosexuality, abortion, paedophilia the impending Armageddon, and while this would have been more than enough in our current decadent society to make him unpopular within the mass media, I believe it is his views on immigration that have tipped the balance so that the media are now out for his blood.

My belief in this respect is based upon the great anomaly, that while Tyson Fury’s views on gender roles, homosexuality and religion have been widely publicised, his views on immigration have been completely ignored by the mass media.

Normally when a celebrity makes a public statement critical of immigration and multiracialism, they are pilloried by the mass media and intimidated into retracting their statements upon fear of being labelled a ‘racist’, but the moguls of the mass media understand two things:

Firstly, Tyson Fury is not the sort of man to allow himself to be intimidated and to back down; and

Secondly, if it became widely known that he has spoken out against mass immigration, it would boost his popularity with the public and create the very real possibility of him actually winning the Sports Personality of the Year Award. This is something the media would go to any lengths to prevent and so there is no mention whatsoever of the video we published here on Western Spring.

This is what Tyson Fury had to say: “Let’s face it, we’re letting thousands and thousands of immigrants in DAILY…. but yet we’ve got our own people here living on the streets homeless, they can’t get anything, they can’t get any money, they can’t get help… whats going on?

“Whats going on Great Britain?! … It’s not so Great when we let our fellow brothers and sisters die on the streets who’ve been born and bred here then we let 50 thousand immigrants in, from wherever they’re from, crying poverty, then they’re gonna blow us up! … I’m big and brave enough to say it how it is, and I will say how it is!”

No wonder the BBC’s Clive Myrie described Tyson as a “Dick-head”, something unprecedented in BBC television history, and something that appears to have gone unpunished.

Our reaction to this should be to ensure the widest possible distribution of the Tyson Fury video above and the make a point of voting for him as BBC Sports Personality of the Year. I can’t think of anyone who deserves the award more!
