One example of the sh*tshow that is the #MissouriCoup

What a circus this whole situation at the University of Missouri is. It all started when a Black student, in response to a poop swastika, went on a “hunger strike” until the university’s president resigned; then the football team vowed not to practice or participate in any games until the university’s president resigned; then the president resigned; then the chancellor resigned; then some White girls harassed a Chinaman for bringing a camera to a protest; and now the university police are asking that students report any “hurtful speech.”

Mediaite:

The Missouri University Police Department (MUPD) sent an email to students Tuesday morning urging them to call them and report any hurtful speech they encounter on the campus.

In an email that was flagged by several Missouri-based journalists, the MUPD asked “individuals who witness incidents of hateful and/or hurtful speech or actions” to call the department’s general phone line “to continue to ensure that the University of Missouri campus remains safe.” They suggest that students provide a detailed description of the offender, their location or license plate number, and even to take a picture if possible.

In the email, MUPD readily admits that hurtful or hateful speech is not against the law. But, they write, “if the individuals identified are students, MU’s Office of Student Conduct can take disciplinary action.”

“Hurtful speech” is such a vague term. What’s hurtful and what isn’t? Some student could merely air a complaint about the insanity of these Blacks and SJWs on social media, and a fellow student could deem it “hurtful,” inform campus police, and potentially get him in trouble. It’s honestly not out of the realm of possibility.

I don’t doubt that the ridiculousness of Ferguson has inspired SJWs to take more pronounced stands against “racism,” “oppression,” and “White privilege.” And neither do I doubt that the ridiculousness of this #MissouriCoup will continue to inspire them.

This is the fruit of mob rule and political correctness. As well as a glimpse into the possible future of this country. Yes, it can get worse than it already is.
