Zelensky Fires Missiles at Random People’s Houses Inside of Russia

Here’s a cool idea for a story: put a Jew in charge of a country and then everyone dies.

Frankly, I’m getting so bored of this current batch of media stories that I don’t even remember if the US told Zelensky he was allowed to bomb Russia.

I remember that at first, Joe Biden said he wasn’t going to send HIMARS to the Ukraine because they could be used to attack Russia, then the next day, “Joe Biden” published a New York Times op-ed saying he would send them the missile systems. There was then some back and forth about whether they should be used to attack Russia proper, but I don’t think that question was ever definitively answered.

It’s just bad writing, frankly.

This war is like a J.J. Abrams production. In fact, Zelensky and Abrams could well be the same person.

I’d say there’s at least a 40% chance this is just some kind of Clark Kent situation where Abrams takes his glasses off and no one recognizes him.

These missiles Zelensky launched at Russia this time weren’t even fired from a HIMARS. They always had the ability to shoot rockets across the border randomly to blow up random Russian people’s houses in Belgorod. The conversation about the HIMARS surrounded whether they would be allowed to hit military targets inside Russia.

The question is: isn’t firing missiles at random people’s houses actually worse than hitting military targets?

RT:

Ukraine launched three Tochka-U ballistic missiles loaded with cluster munitions at the Russian city of Belgorod, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday. It added that all three had been intercepted mid-air, but that parts of one of the missiles had hit a house.

Regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that three people were killed and four injured overnight. He added that 11 apartment buildings and at least 39 smaller houses were damaged.

Russian news outlet Baza later reported that two more bodies were recovered from under the rubble, raising the death toll to five. This has not yet been confirmed by officials.

Belgorod is located around 40 kilometers from the Russia-Ukraine border.

The Russian authorities have repeatedly accused Ukraine of shelling cities and villages close to the border. Moscow previously warned that it would hit Ukrainian “decision-making centers, including Kiev” if attacks on Russian territory did not stop.

Yeah, why doesn’t Russia just blow up wherever Zelensky is in Kiev?

That would be satisfying and hilarious. The West has already applied maximum pressure to Russia, the last and only option being sending actual US/NATO troops into the Ukraine, which they’re apparently too pussy to do, so blowing up “decision-making centers” in Kiev wouldn’t really escalate anything serious.

Something is going to have to happen to advance the plot here, because I know I’m not the only one getting bored.
