Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants a full-out war against change — climate change, to be more precise — after a hurricane allegedly did another 9/11.

New York Post:

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called for more urgency to address climate change on Friday, comparing its impact on Americans to the tragedy of 9/11.

The Bronx rep was discussing her Green New Deal on MSNBC when she said the devastation from Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico was similar to the 2001 terrorist attack.

On the events on September 11, 2001, thousands of Americans died in the largest terror attack on US soil,” Ocasio-Cortez told host Chris Hayes.

Our national response was war in one then eventually two countries: 3,000 Americans died in Puerto Rico due to Hurricane Maria. Where is our response?

If every natural catastrophe nowadays is going to be blamed on “man-made climate change,” then the least they could do is explain what caused every natural catastrophe ever (that we know of) up to the Industrial Revolution. Did we make the climate change back then too?

Some type of time-traveling carbon gas?

Until Alexandria demonstrates that the hurricane attacked our people out of malice, I’ll strongly oppose bringing democracy to the land (air?) of hurricanes.

This is a matter of principles. I’m not willing to risk the lives of innocent hurricane children in another stupid war for Israel.

If Hurricane peoples want to take Puerto Rico from us, I say we let them. They’d be doing us a favor.

Alexandria also claimed that this was about our survival and that we needed to save ourselves. If she truly believes that, why waste time with this insane “plan” to save the planet that requires everyone to go along with it while also taking the power to enforce it away from us?

She should change focus.

Instead of ranting about how she thinks we could stop the Climate Apocalypse from happening she should be starting discussions about how to survive it.

Maybe start digging underground cities now or launching space-station cities – or both.

Give out some survival manuals for people in the meantime.

If the planet is really going to become uninhabitable soon, we should stop wasting time on this “but seriously rest of the world, just kill your industries and economies with us” insanity and start thinking about how to survive in the upcoming environment.

The more bellicose alternative is to literally conquer the world, enslave everyone and force them all to go along with the new Amish lifestyle.

That’s the only way to prevent the Climate Apocalypse from happening.

We have only two choices here.

  1. Conquer the world to enforce policies that are alleged to prevent the Climate Apocalypse
  2. Deal with the fact that the Climate Apocalypse will happen, adapt and act accordingly

I prefer the first one.

Do it for her.
