Jeff Bezos funds Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. He is behind her obsession with the $15 minimum wage. He wants to use a $15 minimum wage as a method of weakening Walmart.
This is obviously the same thing.
CNN:
As the White House considers raising taxes on corporations for the first time in more than 25 years, the head of one of America’s largest companies is backing such a plan.
Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos said in a statement Tuesday that the company is “supportive of a rise in the corporate tax rate.”
“We support the Biden Administration’s focus on making bold investments in American infrastructure,” Bezos said. “Both Democrats and Republicans have supported infrastructure in the past, and it’s the right time to work together to make this happen. We recognize this investment will require concessions from all sides — both on the specifics of what’s included as well as how it gets paid for.”
The White House is laying the groundwork for lifting the corporate tax rate above its current level of 21% to help pay for an ambitious infrastructure package. Bezos’ statement is a notable show of approval for the move given that many others in the business community have warned that it could threaten recovery from the pandemic.
The outgoing Amazon chief executive is, in some ways, a surprising advocate for a corporate tax hike.
Only CNN would be surprised by it.
What a normal thinking person would be surprised by is if the Biden Administration ever took any position that Jeff Bezos did not agree with.
Jeff Bezos is not taking a moral stand – supporting higher corporate taxes is a way to destroy his competition. He can afford to pay more taxes, and will probably figure out a way to avoid most of them anyway (which is relatively easy anyway, as given that he has no retail stores, he exists in a different legal classification than Walmart).
CNN is editorializing when they say the word “surprising.” Every news article has upped the ante on editorializing in what are supposed to be straight news articles. The biggest jump into that pond of corruption has been seen at the Associated Press. CNN was already doing this, but they’ve gone more extreme.
It is the opposite of surprising that Bezos is endorsing this. It is clear to see that his long term goal is to become the only retailer in the country, and eventually in the world, and to effectively function as a government.
The lockdown is basically wiping out 100% of Bezos’ remaining small business competition. It was going to go anyway, but the government-mandated bankrupting of more or less all small businesses (and many significant chain retailers) was a fell swoop.
Right now, the most important thing to Bezos is not total earnings, it is to eliminate corporate competition – primarily Walmart. Even if he were to end up paying more taxes than Walmart, as long as it hurt Walmart more than it hurt Amazon, it would be a win for him. Amazon is making such an obscene amount of money on AWS that they could pay 100% of their retail revenue in taxes. Furthermore, Amazon is funded not by their revenue, but by Wall Street, so it doesn’t even matter at all.
This is maybe not 100% obvious if you literally know nothing at all, but if you know even a tiny little bitty bit, it is very straightforward.
But the mainstream media won’t report on what is going on. Instead they just say “oh well, Jeff Bezos must be really a moral person.”
I will say that VICE News did report on Amazon running nonstop ads for the $15 minimum wage hoax.
However, what they didn’t mention and would never mention is AOC’s connection to Amazon through “campaign contributions,” AKA the institutionalized Western democracy political bribery system.

You get these small places where the media, or certain specific media, will let little pieces of truth slip.
It doesn’t ever affect the main narrative. VICE itself shills the minimum wage hoax constantly.
Minimum wage is a “gender pay gap” tier hoax. If you need to mandate a minimum wage, then your entire economy is utterly corrupt. Anyway, that’s its whole own separate issue, which I’ve written about before, and which you can probably read about even on pretty basic bitch conservative websites.
(Basically, we no longer have anything resembling a “market economy” because the government refuses to enforce antitrust law, because the government is institutionally corrupt as a result of the bribery system. This system is a mix of corporate-run government and weird anti-social socialism designed to incentivize bad behavior. If we had a working market economy, and closed borders, McDonald’s would be paying $30 an hour.)
It is sickening the way the media will so blatantly obfuscate obvious facts and then petition to censor anyone who calls them out on it. It is also absurd. Myself, Alex Jones, and others were not censored by big tech anymore than Jesus Christ was killed by Romans. Big tech was carrying out an agenda pushed by the media because they had been backed into a corner.
Even the Jews of big tech tried to prevent censorship. As I recorded all the way back in 2011-2015, Mark Zuckerberg was pushing back against the Anti-Defamation League, defending Holocaust denial. It’s the same situation with Jack Dorsey defending all sorts of things, including the n-word.
All three big tech companies involved in censorship – Facebook, Twitter and (biggest of all) Google only did so after a concerted campaign by the media.
With Parler getting banned, it was even worse – people in the government, including AOC, were directly calling for the ban, basically destroying the “conservative” William F. Buckleyite claim that “private companies can do anything they want to anyone.” Even if you believe that unregulated monopolies should be legal, and unregulated monopolies should be able to do whatever they want to anyone, when you have actual government officials demanding these private companies engage in censorship, there is no way to claim that doesn’t abolish the First Amendment.
If there was free media on the internet, the mainstream media would have been made irrelevant by now. It would still exist, but they wouldn’t be able to get away with things like claiming that “it’s a surprise” Jeff Bezos would use tax law to hurt his competitors. Along with telling the truth, independent media was putting a check on just how many lies the mainstream media was allowed to tell.
I’ve said it and I will say it again: if I was allowed to compete in a free market of ideas, the extended coronavirus lockdown would not have been possible. I am not playing myself up there – that is simply a matter of fact.
Furthermore, if I had been allowed to follow the ten year plan I developed for the site in 2013, this site would be getting more traffic right now than the New York Times. That is also not a boastful claim, but just a matter of fact – I would have hired a team of legitimately good writers, I would be able to pay them as much as they can get paid at other sites.
I have heard people say that I talk too much about myself, and my censorship situation. Well, here’s the thing: it sucks, and I don’t want to write about myself, but what I am saying is simply true. In August 2017, when the censorship really came down, Daily Stormer got nearly the same amount of traffic as Breitbart. That was after I had been banned from banking for more than two years (something that honestly, was not predicted in 2013).
You can make people believe anything when you have total control of the media, but with a free internet, the truth would win out.
Censorship is the single most important issue there is. It is the only way the media is able to get away with all of this insanity.
