The conflict in Ukraine and sanctions against Russia from Western countries are driving up global food prices, as Black Sea ports used to export grain remain blocked. The situation could lead to hunger and food rioting in poor countries, where food security depends on imports, the head of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala told the Guardian on Thursday.
“I think we should be very worried. The impact on food prices and hunger this year and next could be substantial. Food and energy are the two biggest items in the consumption baskets of poor people all over the world,” Okonjo-Iweala said, adding that “it is poor countries and poor people within poor countries that will suffer the most.”
Okonjo-Iweala specified that Russia and Ukraine provide 24% of global supplies of wheat, noting that food imports from the Black Sea region were crucial for survival for 35 African countries.
This is sort of the same thing with the coronavirus hoax, where even according to their own stupid fake statistics, more people die as a result of the lockdown than the virus. That’s what they’re saying now. Even if you believed that Russia invaded the Ukraine for no other reason than metaphysical evil, and there was no way to end it other than through endless war and violence, you would still have to admit that the response to it is going to kill a lot more people than no response.
Also, just like I said over and over and over again with the coronavirus: if the media and government never would have talked about it, no one would have noticed it. It would have passed as a normal flu season. It’s the same thing with the Ukraine war hoax. If the government and media wouldn’t have made it into a massive moral campaign, no one would have paid any attention.

No one pays attention to much more devastating wars. The war in Yemen doesn’t affect anyone’s life who isn’t Yemeni. They had all these wars in Africa that no one cared about.
