Certainly never accept help from them. They’re always up to something.
A heartless thug offered to help an elderly woman carry her shopping bags up to her Harlem apartment — and then robbed her of her last $2, police said.
The 74-year-old woman was entering the building near the corner of W. 122nd Street near Manhattan Avenue when the seemingly courteous man held the door open for her around 3:45 p.m. Saturday.
The suspect decided to extend the act of kindness a step further by offering to help carry the packages up to her third floor apartment, police said.
But when the pair got into the elevator, the man dropped the charade and said, “Don’t make any noise and give me what you got.”
