But we should not discount the role Antony Blinken has played.
The US is totally falling back on the world stage at a rate no one ever could have imagined a couple years ago, and Blinken is doing literally nothing at all, other than whine about gay sex and other “human rights” faggotry.
The world knows that the US is the war country, the doom country. The idea that they care about people is laughed at by everyone. Everyone gets that this language is about domination, and they resent the moral grandstanding.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken travels to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday on a mission to steady Washington’s relationship with Riyadh after years of deepening disagreements on issues ranging from Iran and regional security to oil prices.
Blinken is expected to meet with top Saudi officials and possibly the kingdom’s de-facto ruler, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, also known as MbS, during his time in Riyadh, the capital, and the coastal city of Jeddah, in what will be Washington’s second recent high-level visit. White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan traveled to Saudi Arabia on May 7.
The top U.S. diplomat’s June 6-8 visit to the world’s largest oil exporter comes days after Riyadh pledged to further cut oil production, a move likely to add tension to a U.S.-Saudi relationship already strained by the kingdom’s human rights record and disputes over America’s Iran policy.
The aims of the trip include regaining influence with Riyadh over oil prices, fending off Chinese and Russian influence in the region, and nurturing hopes for an eventual normalization of Saudi-Israeli ties.
Hahahaha.
That ship hath sailed.
When Saudi embraced China, they made a deal with Iran, and they gave up on the Israel thing.
Speaking at the pro-Israel lobby group the American Israel Public Affairs Committee on Monday, Blinken said Washington had “a real national security interest” in advocating for the normalization of diplomatic relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia, but cautioned that it will not happen quickly.
Discouraging a closer Saudi-Chinese relationship is probably the most important element of Blinken’s visit, said Richard Goldberg, senior adviser at Washington-based think-tank, the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD).
“[Blinken should explain] why Chinese interests do not align with Saudi Arabia, and why closer relations in a strategic way inhibit closer relations with Washington,” Goldberg said.
It’s like they think nonwhites are just little babies who need things “explained” to them.
What US interest aligns with Saudi more than the Chinese plan for peace and prosperity?
The US is the one making the weapons. They’re the ones who make all the money on war.
The Saudis are friends with the Persians now. They’re friends with Assad. They’re all going to make money together.
China did that.
What did the US do, other than encourage them to get involved in pointless, stupid wars everywhere for the sake of Israel?
They told them they need to start doing anal licking and fisting on men.
They demanded it.
The age of US dominance is already over.
The only thing the US ever had to offer was war and debt.
China offered peace and trade and China won.
