For a long time, I’ve believed that Brexit wouldn’t ever actually happen. And that if it did, it would be some “soft” form that just lets bureaucrats operate as if it hadn’t happened, as they plan to eventually reintegrate officially.
But what Boris did in calling an election, and winning with such overwhelming support, actually gave a stronger mandate for Brexit than the original referendum.
It does now look like it will happen.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will “get Brexit done” by Jan. 31 and then agree a new trade deal with the European Union by the end of 2020, cabinet office minister Michael Gove said on Sunday, vowing to deliver on the government’s top priority.
Johnson and his team were triumphant last week when he won a commanding majority of 80 at an early election he said he was forced to call to break the Brexit deadlock. Winning over many traditionally Labour voters in northern and central England, Johnson has proclaimed he will lead a “people’s government”.
…
“I can absolutely confirm that we will have an opportunity to vote on the Withdrawal Agreement Bill in relatively short order and then we will make sure that it passes before January 31st,” Gove told Sky News.
Asked about a new trade accord with the EU, Gove said: “It will be concluded next year. We will be in a position to leave the European Union before the 31st of January next year and then we will have concluded our conversations with the EU about the new framework of free trade and friendly cooperation that we will have with them by the end of next year.”
The EU’s chief negotiator, Michel Barnier, has cast doubt over whether the trade talks will be so swiftly concluded, saying last month that the negotiations would be “difficult and demanding” and warning Britain the bloc “will not tolerate unfair competitive advantage”.
Johnson, who celebrated his victory by visiting Sedgefield, a former Labour bastion that was the parliamentary seat of ex-prime minister Tony Blair but voted Conservative this time, will set out his program on Thursday in a Queen’s Speech.
Rishi Sunak, a deputy finance minister, said the government aimed to re-submit the Withdrawal Agreement Bill to parliament for ratification before Christmas to allow ministers to start work on other priorities such as “leveling up” the country.
I want to address the much-ballyhooed talking point that “Brexit doesn’t really matter, because the UK has its own mass immigration agenda.”
It is true that the UK has a mass immigration agenda, and it is possible that there will not be any change in the immigration situation as a result of Brexit.
That is a shame, but it doesn’t mean “Brexit doesn’t matter.”
Brexit matters because it rips out the biggest tooth of the EU, which is designed to be the forward face of global government. It leaves the Union broken and bloodied, without all of those pounds sterling coming over to fund it. It brings the entire feasibility of the project in question. And it leaves an opening for other nations to start breaking off from this bloc.
Furthermore, it does technically create a better immigration situation for the UK, as if they are not in the EU, it is at least theoretically possible for them to do something about immigration. As a member of the EU, particularly as integration intensifies, they are going to end up in a position where they cannot make any of their own laws, and so would have no ability to disagree with a mandate from Brussels saying they have to have infinite immigrants.
That is to say, they will be dealing with their own mass immigration agenda instead of the mass immigration agenda of a bunch of unelected bureaucrats in a different country.
Whatever the case, the whole world is simply waiting for the United States government to collapse once and for all, as that will free up the rest of the world. The entirety of this horrible globalist agenda is pushed from Washington, which as Daily Stormer readers are aware, is simply a colony of Israel.
When Big Jew is no longer able to use his Big Stick of the US military to push this agenda, it will naturally collapse on its own.
