As we reported on Sunday, several captives escaped from Azovstal on Saturday. As I understood it from reports, the civilians were not actually escaping from the tunnel complex, but from an above-ground residential area. However, it seems that there was also a batch of civilians who managed to escape from the tunnels.
Southfront has posted a video from a woman who escaped the tunnels who had previously appeared in video recorded by Azov themselves and spread all over Twitter by blue checks. She claims the same thing that everyone else who escaped Mariupol claimed: that Azov was threatening to kill her if she tried to leave.
The unnamed woman appeared in this video posted to the Azov YouTube page two weeks ago. You can see her and her son at 3:23.
It’s not clear how she was able to escape the facility, though it is presumed that Azov killers fled positions where they were holding their human shields far deeper into the tunnels, and for some reason didn’t have time or energy to slaughter the civilians.
Here is the video from Southfront of the very same woman being interviewed after the escape, explaining that she was threatened with murder if she tried to flee.
Woman: We left the factory on our own without the help of the military through the destroyed fence.
Interviewer: How did the Ukrainian military treat you?
Woman: Us? They cajoled the children, like all the military. They said that everything would be fine. They brought a chocolate bar, divided it for everyone. We (the adults) were threatened: “You will not leave, you will be shot there.”
Frankly, I was not sure these videos were even real. There was a high likelihood they were staged by the State Department, in my reckoning. The West was demanding – all of these blue checks were demanding – that Russia stop shelling Azovstal because there were civilians in there, and it was obvious that if there were any civilians in there, they were human shields that got dragged in there.
Frankly, I’m shocked Azov did not cannibalize these people. I’ve been mentioning cannibalism a lot in regards to the Azovstal plant, because Russia is releasing intercepted communications where people in the tunnels admit there is no food. Cannibalism is obvious in such a situation. Humans are the easiest food to move around in this situation. It would be impossible for a fleeing military unit to carry hundreds of kilos of canned goods into a tunnel complex, but women and children are hundreds of kilos of food on legs.
After I suggested this, a “Ukraine” social media influencer posted a video of himself engaging in cannibalism.

So-called “Ukraine” people with access to food will engage in cannibalism because they think it is cool and edgy, so of course starving “Ukraine” people will have zero qualms.
I’m glad these people escaped without being eaten by Azov Anal Aryans – though this was only a few dozen, while Azov claims to have thousands of civilian hostages under the complex.
This interview with the woman from the Azov propaganda video collapses the narrative of the shills on the internet who have been claiming that the hundreds or thousands of civilians who had escaped Mariupol and said Azov was killing civilians or threatening to kill civilians are all actors from Russia.
Of course, that claim was so ridiculous in the first place that they can just now claim that this woman was paid to lie about the brave Anal Aryans. But the web of lies is getting thinner and thinner, and the mainstream anti-Russian narrative consistently more difficult to support.
If we ever do get back on Twitter, all of these people who pushed this Anal Aryan hoax are going to have a whole lot of explaining to do.
