Colored Chap Charged with Murder After One of the Two Women He Stabbed Died

A man accused in the stabbing of two women has now been charged with murder after one of the women died.

Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr. said Duane Edward Taylor Jr. of Moraine stabbed two women in a car Dec. 28, 2018, on Crew Circle in Miami Township.

Heck said Taylor was in the backseat of the vehicle when he attacked the women. The women were able to identify Taylor as the assailant, Heck said.

Ronda Neal, 53, of Dayton died Oct. 22, 2019. Today, April 1, 2020, Montgomery County Coroner Kent Harshbarger said she died of post-traumatic tracheal stenosis due to complications of multiple stab wounds.

Taylor was indicted in January 2019 on felonious assault and retaliation charges. Today, a grand jury indicted Taylor on one count of murder.

Taylor remains in the Montgomery County Jail.
