DeSantis Bans Protests Outside Private Homes After Child Killers Try to Intimidate Judges

I am wondering more and more if DeSantis is not forming this hardcore image so he can attack Donald Trump in the primary and then bring in a bunch of neocons. The basis of that theory is that even while he is doing all this hardcore stuff, he is still surrounded by GOP shills.

However: you can’t complain about what he is actually doing.

New York Post:

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation Monday that makes it illegal to protest outside of private homes in the Sunshine State.

Violators would be given one chance to disperse after an official warning and would be subject to arrest and up to 60 days in jail if they don’t comply.

DeSantis signed the law after protesters amassed at the homes of Supreme Court justices in recent weeks to lobby for the preservation of abortion rights.

Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Samuel Alito, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett have all had protesters gather outside their Virginia homes.

Really amazing that no one else has done this.

The first Amendment is about political speech, it is not about intimidation and harassment outside of people’s personal homes.

These same people saying they have a right to threaten people at their homes – including threatening federal judges, which is totally illegal and has been forever – are the ones lobbying to end all free speech on the internet.

If the protesters were free speech absolutists, then they wouldn’t be protesting at judges’ homes, because they would be too busy engaging in debate on the internet.

But they’ve already shut down all internet debate, so now they have time to go after people at their homes and engage in illegal terrorism.
