No one could have predicted that the virus wouldn’t actually be deadly to people who are not elderly or with serious existing illnesses.
No one could also have predicted that people would kill themselves as a result of the stress of the hysteria.
Some guy on the internet said all of this, but he’s pure evil.
A top emergency room doctor at a Manhattan hospital that treated many coronavirus patients died by suicide on Sunday, her father and the police said.
Dr. Lorna M. Breen, the medical director of the emergency department at NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital, died in Charlottesville, Va., where she was staying with family, her father said in an interview.
Tyler Hawn, a spokesman for the Charlottesville Police Department, said in an email that officers on Sunday responded to a call seeking medical assistance.
“The victim was taken to U.V.A. Hospital for treatment, but later succumbed to self-inflicted injuries,” Mr. Hawn said.
Dr. Breen’s father, Dr. Philip C. Breen, said she had described devastating scenes of the toll the coronavirus took on patients.
“She tried to do her job, and it killed her,” he said.
The elder Dr. Breen said his daughter had contracted the coronavirus but had gone back to work after recuperating for about a week and a half. The hospital sent her home again, before her family intervened to bring her to Charlottesville, he said.
Dr. Breen, 49, did not have a history of mental illness, her father said. But he said that when he last spoke with her, she seemed detached, and he could tell something was wrong. She had described to him an onslaught of patients who were dying before they could even be taken out of ambulances.
“She was truly in the trenches of the front line,” he said.
He added: “Make sure she’s praised as a hero, because she was. She’s a casualty just as much as anyone else who has died.”
Oh, we’ll go further than praising her as a hero – we will worship her as a GOD.
There wasn’t an onslaught of patients dying. There were people dying, but not nearly as many as who died of the flu in 2018, which this woman presumably also worked through.
So the idea of an “onslaught” was a fantasy in her mind created by the media hysteria.
Many people have already killed themselves over this silly hoax, and so will many more when they lose their jobs, their homes and their families.
The media is finally admitting that there are going to be mass suicides.
The coronavirus crisis could lead to a 32-percent increase in suicides in Michigan without awareness and improved access to care, including use of telehealth technology, a report by Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services said.
The report warns that “aftershocks” of COVID-19 could create a mental-health crisis.
“The COVID-19 crisis will have a profound impact on the mental health of Michiganders,” Dr. Mark Eastburg, Pine Rest CEO and president, said in a statement.
The fallout we are going to experience from this will be worse than if the imaginary number of 2.2 million had died.
And no one is going to apologize to you for any of it.
In fact, they’re going to keep telling you it’s real, as they milk your fear for all that it is worth.
