House Passes Debt Ceiling Bill – The Whole Thing was a Hoax the Whole Time

I told you this was just a bunch of bullshit. There was never any chance at all of a default. That was just total nonsense, and media noise.

RT:

The US House of Representatives approved a bill to raise the debt ceiling on Wednesday, just days before the deadline to avoid a national default.

A total of 149 Republicans and 165 Democrats voted for the legislation, while 71 Republicans and 46 Democrats voted against it.

The vote comes after Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen warned on Friday that the government could run out of money to pay its bills by June 5. The bill now moves to the Senate, whose members have to approve it by Monday.

The bill suspends the debt limit through January 1, 2025, and caps non-military spending, among other measures.

President Joe Biden thanked House members shortly after the vote for taking “a critical step forward to prevent a first-ever default and protect our country’s hard-earned and historic economic recovery.” Biden described the deal he struck with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy last Saturday as “a bipartisan compromise,” in which “neither side got everything it wanted.”

Well, McCarthy didn’t get anything that he supposedly wanted. No spending is being cut.

McCarthy just agreed to everything the Democrats demanded.

The Republicans are totally useless. They could have forced the issue, but they didn’t. The Democrats had a lot more to lose from a default, if you believe any of this bullshit is even real at all.

You can always bet on that.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, who is a total and complete shill now, wrote a 19-tweet thread about it, ostensibly explaining why she sold out the country.

No one read that thread, but it is assumed that winners don’t need 19 tweets to explain themselves.

She also gave an interview looking defeated.

They didn’t even stop the tens of thousands of armed IRS agents.

Anyway, whatever.

I don’t really even care about any of this.

I wish they would just keep spending and stop the rate hikes and let the chips fall where they may. We should do total inflation.

The biggest takeaway here is that virtually everything the mainstream media talks about is totally meaningless and a waste of your time to even think about at all. Anything the media bothers to make a big deal is already decided.
