Israel Orders 1 Million Palestinians to Leave in 24 Hours

People maybe don’t understand this, but Gaza is only 140 sq miles. With over 2 million people, it’s the most densely populated territory in the world. The people are locked in.

Palestinians have been totally blockaded in Gaza for years. They’re not allowed to leave. The blockade is held by Israel and Egypt. Egypt gets all these bribes from the US to keep these people locked in, and anyway, doesn’t have anything to do with 1-2 homeless million people.

Apparently, what Israel is saying is that the Palestinians should just move south from Gaza City into… open desert?

And just hang out there?

Gaza is 1/10th the size of Long Island, and there is no exit.

These people literally have no place to go, unless the United States orders Egypt to let them out.

RT:

The Israeli military has urged over 1 million people to leave their homes in Gaza City and urgently move south. The UN has warned of “devastating humanitarian consequences.”

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued the evacuation order, calling it a “humanitarian step.” It did not mention any specific deadline, with a spokesperson acknowledging it would take “some time.”

“The IDF calls on all residents of Gaza City to evacuate their homes, move south for their protection and settle in the area south of the Gaza River,” the military said in a post on X. “This evacuation is for your personal safety. It will be possible to return to Gaza City only after a notification confirming this.”

Yeah, so, yes: the area south of the Gaza River is just an open desert.

I guess they gotta go somewhere!

These are some recent photos of so-called “Jewish Justice.”

They’re definitely not going to want to go all the way south to Khan Yunis, because that is also going to be leveled.

But hey – with the Israelis blocking all humanitarian aid, it doesn’t really matter where they go – that will be where they die.

The UN Office of the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and the Department of Safety and Security in Gaza (OCHA oPt) was notified just before midnight local time that “the entire population of Gaza north of Wadi Gaza should relocate to southern Gaza within the next 24 hours,” UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said in a statement to multiple media outlets on Friday morning.

The IDF vowed to “continue to operate significantly in Gaza City in the coming days” and has urged civilians to “distance yourself from the Hamas terrorists who use you as a human shield.”

The UN official emphasized that it is “impossible for such a movement to take place without devastating humanitarian consequences.”

“This amounts to approximately 1.1 million people. The same order applied to all UN staff and those sheltered in UN facilities – including schools, health centers and clinics,” the spokesperson said.

“The United Nations strongly appeals for any such order, if confirmed, to be rescinded avoiding what could transform what is already a tragedy into a calamitous situation,” Dujarric added.

As of Thursday night, the number of people already forced to flee their homes amid the ongoing Israeli airstrikes has increased to 423,378, or roughly 21% of the entire population of Gaza, according to the latest flash update by the OCHA. About two-thirds of the internally displaced persons are taking shelter in facilities operated by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

Yeah, it’s looking like they’re just going to slaughter everyone.

This was obviously the goal of the Hamas operation in the first place. Whatever you think of it, that was the objective. They are attempting to force all of these Arab countries that opened ties with Israel as part of the “Abraham Accords” to pick a lane.

The Abraham Accords, for those who don’t know, was the Donald Trump plan for “peace in the Middle East,” which actually just involved bribing a bunch of countries to open relations with Israel while ignoring the Palestinians completely. There was no actual “peace deal.”

Palestinians felt they were put in a position where they had no choice. Again, you can draw whatever judgements you want about that, but that’s what they decided, so this is what they did. Now Israel is doing what everyone knew Israel would do.

Seymour Hersh published a piece yesterday claiming that Bibi removed 2/3rds of the troops patrolling the Gaza border in the days before the attacks on Saturday. So, hey – that’s interesting as well.

Basically, both Hamas and Bibi wanted to force the issue, and they did. Now it’s the whole world’s problem.

Israel is already bombing the hell out of Syria and Lebanon. At this point, they could start bombing Iran at any time.

Whatever.

Everybody knows where I stand.
