Gregory Lee.
No doubt some Jew lawyer put this idea into his head.
WRAL:
The man convicted of masterminding a break-in that led to the death of his 89-year-old neighbor almost two decades ago will be back in a Durham County courtroom this week as he seeks a new trial in the case.
Gregory Lee was found guilty of first-degree murder in May 2006 and was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Prosecutors said Lee led four others to Lois Cannady’s house on June 5, 2002, to steal her car. When Cannady surprised them inside the house, one of the teens shot her with an assault rifle as she called 911 for help.
Although no paperwork has been filed at the Durham County Courthouse, Lee, now 36, is scheduled to have a hearing on his motion for appropriate relief in the case.
The Durham County District Attorney’s Office declined to answer questions about the hearing, and it’s unclear who represents Lee in the case and the basis for the motion.
The four other teens were also teens, if you catch my drift.
Lois Cannady.
