The claim that Israel has secret nuclear weapons is a deeply canardish anti-Semitic trope, and it is shocking to see the leader of Israel promoting this sort of dastardly lie.
This is almost as serious as that time he said that Adolf Hitler wasn’t responsible for the Holocaust.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accidently referred to Israel as a “nuclear power” during a cabinet meeting Sunday, immediately correcting himself to “energy power.”
Speaking about a trilateral summit in Athens over the weekend, where Israel signed a deal with Greece and Cyprus for the construction of the EastMed natural gas pipeline to Europe.
“… the significance of this project is that we are turning Israel into a nuclear power, an energy power,” Netanyahu said, with a slip of a tongue.
It is simply disgusting that the leader of a major country is allowed to promote this sort of tropeish canard.
I hope that the SPLC is able to get him fired from his job for spreading such dangerous rumors.
