North Carolina: Black Arrested After Young White Man is Found Shot to Death

Police arrested a 20-year-old with murder after a deadly shooting Friday.

Corey Nathaniel Collins, of High Point, was charged with felony second-degree murder. He is being held in the Randolph County Detention Center without bail. His first court date is Monday.

Randolph County deputies arrived to Middle Point Road at about 7:43 p.m. in reference to a gunshot wound. When they arrived, they found Hunter Robinson, 22, of Archdale, dead at the scene.

Deputies said they also located a suspect at the scene and took them into custody.

No charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing, deputies said.
