After the fatal shooting of a 53-year-old Otsego County man and a fire that damaged his home, New York State Police have made four arrests in the homicide. Three suspects are teenagers.
Kenneth W. Robinson was shot and killed Thursday evening in his residence on Head Road in the Town of Worcester. Troopers were called there around 9:17 p.m., for a reported fire in the residence and quickly deemed his death suspicious.
On Friday, police announced two 15-year-old suspects, a 17-year-old suspect and one adult, 32-year-old Nicolas Meridy, have been charged with second-degree murder. All of the suspects are from the Oneonta area.

A motive in the murder wasn’t disclosed. More charges are anticipated as the investigation continues.

The three teenagers have been charged as juveniles and their names weren’t released. Meridy could face up to 25 years to life in prison if convicted of second-degree murder, though sentencing guidelines are different for juvenile offenders.
