The Robert Mueller led witch hunt has entered a new phase. They’re not going to stop until Donald Trump is impeached.
Donald Trump’s window to shut down this special counsel looking into the Russia kookspiracy circus is getting smaller. Robert Mueller, the Democrat operative who is heading up this witch hunt, is apparently impaneling a grand jury which would allow him to subpoena documents and force witnesses to testify under oath.
Special counsel Robert Mueller is reportedly tapping a federal grand jury in Washington, a sign the federal investigation into Russia’s interference in the presidential election is intensifying and could go on for many months or years.
The move would give Mueller, a former FBI director, broad authority to subpoena documents and compel witnesses to testify under oath.
Mueller has been investigating possible collusion between Trump associates and Russians who sought to influence the election by hacking Democrats. The probe’s expansion is also virtually sure to incense President Trump, who is already furious with the Russia investigation he calls a “witch hunt.”
The Wall Street Journal, which broke the story Thursday, reported that the grand jury began working in recent weeks. The panel has issued subpoenas relating to the controversial June 2016 meeting between the president’s son, Donald Trump Jr., and a Russian lawyer, Reuters reported.
So far there has been a political calculation by Trump that it is better to allow this witch hunt to continue and let the chips fall where they may. The only problem is that Mueller has broad power and could theoretically stretch this out for years. If he finds nothing on Russia, he’ll expand the probe to look into other unrelated matters like Trump’s business dealings.
His team is already loaded up with lawyers who donated to Hillary Clinton. He’s also friends with James Comey, a central figure in this mess. Mueller’s objectivity is highly questionable based on these two facts alone. There is nothing remotely fair about this inquiry.
After several months, they’ve yet to find a single piece of evidence indicating a crime. The Wikileaks story amounted to nothing. The Donald Trump Jr. meeting with that Russian lawyer amounted to nothing. Pushing forward proves that this special counsel is nothing but a giant fishing expedition.
At minimum, the special counsel has been setup to politically hamper Trump and to prevent him from being able to investigate the numerous crimes that occurred during the Obama era. Ultimately though, they want to find something that will compel Congress to remove him from office. That’s the end game to this.
The swamp is doing everything they can to get rid of Trump.
Lindsey Graham has even teamed-up with some Democrats to see if they can draft legislation to prevent Trump from firing Mueller.
This whole thing is crazy. There are many other obvious crimes that should be investigated over these baseless conspiracy theories that Trump is a KGB asset working for Vladimir Putin.
Trump needs to find a way to fire Mueller and end this special counsel witch hunt. He also needs to get investigations opened up into all the insanity that Hillary Clinton and other Democrats have involved themselves in.
One final thought on this. The swamp in Washington seems to be seriously miscalculating the anger there will be if Trump is removed from power over this. They’re playing with fire and don’t seem to care.
