Do we think this is just alcohol or is he on some kind of pills? It’s definitely not cocaine.
How disrespectful to make such an extreme announcement while slurring like this. It’s one thing if he was doing his regular show, but man, show some respect. https://t.co/cQdYMexKln

As we reported, firing Arestovich was a very big deal. He is now out there saying the country is doomed. Zelensky is continuing to fire people. He’s now banned government officials and cops from leaving the country.
It was very disrespectful to announce this while so intoxicated. Zelensky regularly does these speeches while visibly drunk and/or on drugs, but when making such a big announcement, you’d think he’d try to clean up a bit.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said personnel changes were being carried out at senior and lower levels, following the most high-profile graft allegations since Russia’s invasion that threaten to dampen Western enthusiasm for the Kyiv government.
Reports of a new scandal in Ukraine, which has a long history of shaky governance, come as European countries bicker over giving it German-made Leopard 2 tanks – the workhorse of armies across Europe that Ukraine says it needs to break through Russian lines and recapture territory.
“There are already personnel decisions – some today, some tomorrow – regarding officials at various levels in ministries and other central government structures, as well as in the regions and in law enforcement,” Zelenskiy said in his nightly video address late on Monday.
Zelenskiy did not identify the officials to be replaced. Several Ukrainian media outlets have reported that cabinet ministers and senior officials could be sacked imminently.
The deputy head of Ukraine’s presidential office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, later said he had asked Zelenskiy to relieve him of his duties. He did not give a reason but media reported earlier that he might be part of a shake-up.
It’s just bizarre the way they keep constantly changing the spellings of these names. Obviously, Russia uses a different alphabet, so you can write the names in different ways using Latin letters, but it used to be common journalistic practice to settle on one translation and stick to it.
I have Reuters spelling “Zelensky” at least four different ways now, and they are now using this new version of “Timoshenko.”
I don’t know if it’s incompetence, purposefully creating confusion and dissonance, or an attempt to gum up search engine results, but it’s weird.
On Sunday, anti-corruption police said they had detained the deputy infrastructure minister on suspicion of receiving a $400,000 kickback over the import of generators last September, an allegation the minister denies.
A newspaper accused the Defence Ministry of overpaying suppliers for soldiers’ food. The supplier has said it made a technical mistake and no money had changed hands.
David Arakhamia, head of Zelenskiy’s Servant of the People party, said officials should “focus on the war, help victims, cut bureaucracy and stop dubious business”.
“We’re definitely going to be jailing actively this spring. If the humane approach doesn’t work, we’ll do it in line with martial law,” he said.
Basically: Germany is looking for a way out of this situation of deindustrializing their country in order to support strange American “strategic objectives,” so they’ve latched onto this corruption scandal.
Presumably, Zelensky banned officials from leaving the country so he can decide who to throw under the bus. Every official in the Ukraine can be hit with some kind of corruption charges, and he’s presumably going through to see who was the least loyal to decide who he takes down in a display for Germany.
Several politicians are pre-empting being thrown under the bus by resigning.
It might look like a mess, but none of it really matters.
The Ukraine was considered the most corrupt country in Europe for a very long time, and Zelensky was named as the most corrupt leader in the world by several Western publications before the Russian invasion (when he became a Marvel superhero).
Germany will do what Uncle Sam tells them to do. If Uncle Sam says to send in the tanks, they will send in the tanks. They’re not an autonomous country, but an occupied vassal of the Jewnited Snakes.
In terms of a government collapse – it doesn’t really affect anything. The Ukraine government has already stepped aside, and the country is being run by the military.
