At 19 o’clock on New Year’s Day, the police received an alarm about a rape. An 18-year-old woman had been arrested and raped in a toilet – at Max’s hamburger restaurant in the center of Täby. An Afghan man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
A teenage girl had been pulled over in a toilet and there she was raped, says Johan Wernsten, on-duty investigative officer at the police, to Expressen.
Police blocked off the crime scene for technical investigation. After the rape, the woman had to seek medical attention to be examined.
A man could be arrested for the rape during the night until Wednesday. According to source, the man is an Afghan citizen who was born in 1999.
We have found the perpetrator, he was arrested south of town, says Johan Wernsten.
