Sweden: Court to Prosecute Afghan Who Raped Swedish Teen While Living with Her Family

Her parents were no doubt shocked, utterly shocked, that their precious Moslem adoptee would do something like this.

Voice of Europe:

A Swedish court is set to prosecute an Afghan migrant in his twenties who’s accused of having raped a Swedish girl under the age of fifteen. The migrant had been living in the girl’s family’s home.

The suspect, who had received a residence permit in Sweden through the Higher Education Act, is alleged to have sexually assaulted the young girl on the night of April 13th earlier this year. According to the indictment, the migrant carried out a number of unwanted sexual acts against the young girl over a two-hour time span, Swedish news portal Nyheter Idag reports.

While the 20-year-old Afghan admitted to having some physical contact with the young girl, he maintains that a sexual assault did not take place. The migrant even went so far as to say that he had turned down sexual advances from the girl as a result of her young age.

“[The man] states that it was the plaintiff who wanted sex with him but that he did not want to when he saw it as inappropriate partly because of the plaintiff’s age. He also states that he believes he was reported to the police because he did not want to have sex,” the court document reads.

According to the Swedish Migration Agency, the migrant was set to be deported after having his asylum application rejected but was given a temporary residence permit under the so-called “high school law.”
