Felix Joseph Alonzo.
Bean people, like watermelon people, tend to engage in criminality from a young age.
This kid looks like he belongs in high school, yet he’s already stealing guns and killing chilled-out Texan boomers.
A 19-year-old man has been jailed on murder and weapons theft charges in connection to a deadly shooting Saturday evening in Southwest Lubbock.
Felix Joseph Alonzo is accused of killing of 67-year-old Larry Fawver, according to Lubbock police spokeswoman Carson Glenewinkel.
At about 6:20 p.m. Saturday, the Lubbock Police Department received multiple calls reporting shots fired in the 5600 block of 122nd Street. Officers located Fawver and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Multiple LPD officers and investigators with the Metro Special Crimes Unit arrived on scene and immediately began to investigate.
Glenewinkel said Alonzo was identified early on as a suspect, although police did not immediately release additional details about the nature of the shooting or events leading up to it.
He was arrested at University Medical Center after the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office responded to an unrelated single-vehicle crash that occurred at County Road 7500 and U.S. Highway 87. An arrest warrant for Alonzo was obtained early Sunday morning.
