The Biden Entity Accuses Turkey of Genocide of Armenians

On principle, I generally assume any “genocide” or “mass murder” has been exaggerated for political purposes. I don’t know that I would define myself as a “genocide denier, generally,” but with everything from Adolf Hitler’s Holocaust and Joseph Stalin’s gulags to Mao Zedong’s farming troubles and Pol Pot’s urbanite relocation programs, I’ve always tended to err on the side of assuming widespread exaggeration.

Obviously, large numbers of people die in wars. What I have found is that the purposeful mass-killing of civilians by their own government is typically exaggerated. Generally, it is simply bad policy to kill your own civilians, and I don’t think sadism or insanity is going to trump economic realities in most cases.

Even in the case with the Jews, which were seen as foreign, Adolf Hitler was using the concentration camps for free labor, so the idea of exterminating a workforce in the middle of a war simply does not make any sense.

All of this having been said: The Young Turks probably did kill a lot of Armenians, and they probably did so pretty much randomly, as they were attempting to remove them from their country.

There is enough evidence to believe that large numbers of Armenian males and women too old for breeding were death-marched into the Syrian desert (Moslems have never wasted wombs).

CNN:

President Joe Biden on Saturday became the first US president to officially recognize the massacre of Armenians under the Ottoman Empire as a genocide, risking a potential fracture with Turkey but signaling a commitment to global human rights.

In a statement marking the 106th anniversary of the massacre’s start, Biden wrote, “Each year on this day, we remember the lives of all those who died in the Ottoman-era Armenian genocide and recommit ourselves to preventing such an atrocity from ever again occurring.”

“Today, as we mourn what was lost, let us also turn our eyes to the future — toward the world that we wish to build for our children. A world unstained by the daily evils of bigotry and intolerance, where human rights are respected, and where all people are able to pursue their lives in dignity and security,” Biden said. “Let us renew our shared resolve to prevent future atrocities from occurring anywhere in the world. And let us pursue healing and reconciliation for all the people of the world.”

The move fulfills Biden’s campaign pledge to finally use the word genocide to describe the systematic killing and deportation of Armenians in what is now Turkey more than a century ago. Biden’s predecessors in the White House had stopped short of using the word, wary of damaging ties with a key regional ally.

You would want to ask what exactly the purpose of this is. Clearly, The Biden Entity isn’t doing this because he loves Christians.

I suppose it’s just a general push to create chaos and disorder by turning various people against each other. Maybe it is also some kind of attempt to sway Armenians toward the Western NATO alliance. There hasn’t been an effective color revolution in Armenia, and it is still close to Russia. So they’re probably planning on something along those lines.
