The President of the United States Donald Trump delivered a big speech in West Virginia Thursday night. He strongly denounced the special counsel witch hunt and pointed out how the Russian collusion narrative has been an enormous hoax. He also mentioned how Hillary Clinton’s shady dealings with Russia were of no interest to the special counsel effectively proving that the investigation is nothing but a witch hunt.
During the speech, the White Democrat governor of West Virginia, Jim Justice, announced that he was switching to the Republican party. This is another sign that the Democrat party is shedding White supporters. Trump has made the GOP the party of the White working man.
What this speech showed is that the people are still fully behind Trump. Outside of bubbles like DC, New York City and San Francisco, there is big support for his presidency around the country. Thousands of people waited in line for hours to watch him speak with many getting turned away after the arena reached capacity.
Does the swamp really want to mess around with the Trump army? They’d be wise to back off on the witch hunt. It won’t end well for them or the country if they don’t.
